The original report I saw was a ten minute clip on Sportscenter before I had to go. By the time I got home I commented without knowing the full story, then heard it again on Sportscenter... a new version... and read some articles on it... and got the full report

Then said "now.... etc" since I never heard this before then.

That's what they got; an earful of Zolak. you would think the NBC crew would have known that the NFL is the one controlling the com stuff, but run with conspiracy theories instead. Is this what it's going to be like all year?

Loved how the dopes calling the game forgot to mention that it's the NFL that provides the headsets and is responsible for the audio,not the PATRIOTS!

i didn't think they made much of a big deal about the headsets, just reported what they heard and pretty much moved on.

So... early game thoughts....

Jay Cutler is still a bum. Could have won the game but once again throws a pick Packers are early favorites in the NFC, by a long shot IMO, even if they struggled at times against the Bears. They pulled away down the stretch.

Chiefs looked good. Mallet should have started from the beginning. Hoyer is awful.

Manziel once again gets a chance. He played decent from what I watched. Team let him down a few times and then he let the team down with those fumbles and the pick does not help. Jets defense looks good, even if it was against the Browns. Cromartie went down, could be a big blow...

Colts are once again overrated. Bills defense looked incredible and Tyrod Taylor aka T-Mobile is a legit starter. Bills vs Pats is gonna be good, possibly the top two teams in the AFC as of now...

Dolphins are overrated. Redskins defense looked really great, to bad Cousins is a average back up, RGIII would have won that game.

Did not see to much of the Panthers/Jags. Panthers seemed to struggle at times...

Pete Carol proves once more he is the biggest idiot in the NFL. Defense could have stopped the Rams if they started back at the 20-30. Instead they fake the onside??? Like really??? They had no business even having a chance to win that game with all the fumbles from the Rams, yet they found a way to contend for the win and they blow it on a fake onside????

Also, hope Lorenzo Mauldin is okay. Very scary possibilities from early reports... Have yet to find a update except he was transported to a hospital.

Late game thoughts.....

Cardinals seem to be back. From what I saw, everything looked good. Held Brees to 19.

Lions cost themselves the game. They were up, no defensive leader on that team. Suh presence already being missed. Lions will struggle this year.

Bucs How Jameis working out for you First throw is a pick 6 No way he will pull a Favre. Mariota might have been the best QB overall today. Perfect rating as well. Titans could be a sleeper team... to early to tell though.

Same old Raiders I see.

Ravens and Broncos was a pretty good defensive game. Flacco throwing the game ending pick. Both teams will probably make the playoffs still.

Rodney Harrison still thinks the Dolphins are a threat to the Pats?

Dolphins struggled against a 4-12 team. Bills beat a so called Super Bowl contender.

The choice is obvious who is the biggest threat to the Pats.

Pats vs Bills is gonna be a darn good game. Really hoping it is televised in my market, if not gonna have to watch bits and pieces on Redzone.
