With Tony Romo, the Cowboys are one of the top NFC teams, and a possible Super Bowl team. Without him, they're winless (says Captain Obvious).

At 2-7, to even MAKE the playoffs, they'd have to run the table and win the last seven regular season games. Even then, they'd need a bit of luck to be the division champs, but would have to play in the Wild Card round, and would have to go on the road for three games (Wildcard Round- they'd probably have a worse record than a WC team, Divisional Round, and Championship Road) to even make the Super Bowl.

It's not going to happen. Let Romo heal fully and get a high draft pick.

They won't though...he will come back this week and they will win just enough games to leave them with a middle of the road draft pick

Yep. Jerruh always thinks he's right at the brink of a championship.

Unrelated (though he formerly had ties to Dallas), Rex Ryan got fired.

The Giants still have the worse defense in the league :slap
Did you watch the Saints/Giants game from a few weeks ago? Brees threw for 7 touchdowns, tying the NFL record for TDs in a game, and Manning threw for 6 :lol

Annnnnnnnd....he's been fired.

It's a start. Though in fairness, before Ryan we had Steve Spagnuolo, and Gregg Williams before that, and their defenses also sucked. Williams had one good defensive year in the Superbowl year, but they were only good at takeaways. And Ryan even had one good year his first year in somehow. But the team just doesn't invest in, or even really understand defense.

Well, there could've been 3 9-0 teams for the first time in NFL history, but the Bengals are doing their level best to make sure that doesn't happen.

Losing to the TJ Yates 3-5 Texans at home? Wow. Texans own the Bengals.

There really is no team in the AFC that even has a chance against the Pats. Literally none.

Yeah, figures NFL history won't be made because of the Bungles. They always seemed like the weakest of the 3 unbeatens. My money would be on the Cardnials beating them Sunday too. Didn't help that Eifert dropped 3 passes either. He catches 1 of them and I'd have won. :dunno
