:yess: Broncos lose. Hoping they lose to the Bengals, Jets beat Pats, Steelers/Bengals/Chiefs win out and Pats beat the Dolphins to lock up the #1 seed. All this means Denver misses the playoffs!

Yeah Os's inexperience is starting to show at the wrong time for Denver

Pats only secured a bye, they still have not secured home field throughout. No team has.

I know but c'mon a Bye for the Pats, almost guarantees homefield for NE. If Denver doesn't get in the playoffs, No Manning. Unless Big Ben gets into the playoffs, I don't see any quality Qb in the AFC to challenge Brady, even if Dalton comes back for Cincinnati :slap

Two teams that worry me and could be spoilers If they are in the playoffs

Seattle and Pittsburgh

2 QBs who are great and have won a SB and both have good defenses

I think health is the biggest factor especially on the AFC. Obviously DEN, CIN and NE all have injuries hurting them right now. Pit right now is going to be healthiest but their O will have to win . I think KC will cause anyone problems with their D. Den and Cin will have a chance in any games due to their D.

True but not with game manager Smith. KC needs a little more going farther in the playoffs

Brock had quite a few balls dropped on him. The kind that ends drives and results in punts. Steelers were fortunate to pull this one out today. Also, the Broncos D got shredded in the second half. I'd blame this loss on the D far more than I would on Brock or the O.

Speaking of which, don't you think OBJ should've gotten tossed early for his actions :pfft:

OBJ aka

One
Big
Jerk
From what I saw if they were going to toss OBJ they had to toss Norman too. They were both going at it and neither had any desire to stop and kept having to get the last word, hit, ect... in. If I was the ref I would have told OBJ , Norman and Finigan next personal foul your gone. The refs let it get out of hand early and it was too late when they tried to regain control. The one hit OBJ had was bad but I blame the refs almost as much OBJ because they just let things get worse and worse. Seemed like every play ended with them grabbing each other most the time by the facemask, wrestling or some sort of confrontation. Norman wants to act like he was 100% innocent after the game but he may want to rewatch his actions in the game before he starts to act so high and mighty.

I wouldon't say rolls on. More like survives.

Yeah, I wasn't saying that the Panthers rolled over the Giants. My bad. Posted too quickly.

Didn't see the game, but after watching the highlights, Beckham clearly should have been thrown out.

Norman seems to have a way of getting under receivers' skins as well. he and Dez Bryant were jawing it up big time a few weeks back.

I think the only real threat to NE in the AFC is the Steelers, if they get in. Ben's playing great (bone-headed gift interception to the Broncos last night notwithstanding), and they have two big time playmakers in wideouts Antonio Brown and Martavius Bryant. I thought they played NE fairly well in the first game of the season. they were moving the ball pretty well against the Pats, but some bone headed play calls by Todd Haley derailed any scoring chances.

Panthers won two tight games at the very end against what should have been easy pickins for them in New Orleans and New York. I also think they will go undefeated in the regular season (though Jameis can hurt you if you aren't careful), but if I were a fan of theirs, I would be a bit worried for the playoffs. They know how to win, but they don't step on opponents' throats in the way that Belichick and Brady know how to.

Especially the NY game. This is a team that is known to be a big time D and gave up 28 straight points when up 35 to 7.

Having said that, in their Superbowl year, the Saints had plenty of games like those, some where they almost blew leads, some that could have gone either way, but in most cases the Saints figured out how to win. And that served them well in very difficult playoff games against the Vikings and Colts. So, on the other hand, I can see those games as being really important learning experiences for the team. But when you're playing against a beast of a team as the Pats seem to be right now, I don't know if that's enough.

Panthers have always done it that way...and its so annoying. Get a decent lead and then the play calling relaxes and allows teams to get back in games.

Everyone please just keep Carolina as the underdogs :)

Arizona and Seattle are very good and can beat anyone. On the other side NE is always dangerous but I'd much rather play them than Pittsburgh. Cam is the MVP and doing it with role playing WRs. I really wish Smitty could have stayed around for this run and Kelvin Benjamin not got hurt but that's the way it goes.
