I'm not from Minnesota. Current location =/= origin. Try again :)

EDIT: Interesting though that you connect all these stars to your home state yet don't root for any of the more obvious loserish teams. Cherry pick much?

I like the Pistons and Red Wings.... those aren't my favorite sports though. Lions have and will be a bunch of thugs. I hated everything about the Lions from players to coaches, even when they did make the playoffs. Why would I support a team I hate? Same with the Tigers. Never liked anyone.

Lions may have thugs( not sure they have anymore than any other NFL team) but I don't think they have gang banger murders.

Hey, 4 years in Gainesville changes a person. I've never been the same (UF '06). No gangs up here in Maine though.:lol

Good thing Peyton is probably retiring. His carefully cultivated image as the aw-schucks good guy is being exposed for the sham it is.

he prolly has no choice but to retire now. I can't believe Newton was a bigger story after the SB than this. After what he did to the guy that accused him of using HGH and now this, the guy is the biggest fake in any sport that I can recently remember. My opinion on him and his family turned a complete 180.

Why should a 20 year old story be a bigger story. This is not the first time it came up. It came up a second time 13 years ago. The writer has no journalistic integrity as he has only written anti Manning and pro Newton articles since the super bowl. He has an ax to grind. Plus you notice how he headlines it about Manning they makes lots of accusations about what other did at UT but never comes out says Manning was not involved in that. Then the court document he uses is her statement of fact (her story). I am not saying Manning was an angel , but I also knew this was old news. What the school does is much worse that anything the Manning's did.

I explained this many times. First Super Bowl I watched was Pats vs Rams. Pats won. I decided to root for them. If Rams won.... I would be a Rams fan. Plus Brady went to Michigan.... like I will be. My Grandpa likes the Yankees and told me about them ever since I was born. Plus, Derek Jeter lived a few hours away from me when he played High School baseball.

Just curious, how old are you?

I don’t really care, :lol. Having said that, it would explain a lot. By your statement there, you’ve either just finished high school and are getting ready to enter college, or a few years removed from high school.

Now, everyone is entitled to having their own opinion, and being younger doesn’t dismiss your opinion, BUT at a certain age, you’re missing something that a lot of us have: perspective.

A lot of the stuff you post, I just sort of roll my eyes at, but don’t bother to respond.

Plus the frontal cortex human brain (which governs judgment, decision-making, and impulse control) doesn’t fully develop until around age 25.

My guess is 17 :lol

Wrong.

You must care if you asked...... 20.

Sounds like Cousins in done in Washington

He will get the franchise tag.

Dunno why they'd waste it on him, nobody wants him

Well... he would be the best FA QB on the market I think. 6-8 teams would love a shot at signing him. 'Skins have no one else to put the tag on but him. I think paying him $20 million this year and see how he does beats a 5 year, $100 million contract with a bunch of guaranteed money. For all we know, he could be Rex Grossman. Rex had one good year and led the Bears to a Super Bowl and then was garbage the next year. Same with RGIII, one good year and struggled the next two. I think tagging Cousins is the best option for the Redskins.

Peyton Manning is done with the Broncos. They won't pay him that $21 million. If he wants to play next year.... he doesn't have many title contending teams to go to.

No, one can be curious without caring. Had you chosen not to respond with the answer, it'd be no big deal. But for what it's worth, thanks for replying.

It benefits Washington to franchise Cousin for one more year before signing him long term. As mentioned, he could have been a one hit wonder.
