The NFL penalized themselves when they went to shorter practices, less time in pads and it shows in play. Positions that are more extensive are better and positions that require practice time in pads are worse.

Earl Thomas hugged one of the refs after a fumble return TD and was flagged 15 yards for Unsportsmanlike Conduct? C'mon, man...

Yep simple as simple of a call as you can get. The rules strictly prohibit contact with a ref. Sorry Thomas is either stupid or didn't care that he would get flagged.

Is anyone shocked that the Saints and Seahawks game is so close .

They really miss Beast Mode :panic:

Wilson being beaten up doesn't help either

See the problem with the statement is everything after ref. There is no but. It's the right call

Pretty sure every Saints game this year has been close. Their record is a bit deceptive. And if their defense steps up like today? They can compete with anybody. Terrific game today btw. Saints earned it. These are the most rewarding when your team wins, and the most crushing when your team loses. And usually the Saints lose these close ones, so I know that feeling very well!

Good to see the Saints get the win . Too bad Falcons are ranked so high. Don't think there is chance Saints can catch them in the division

Patriots pretty much have another season wrapped up. Probably hosting the AFC again in the playoffs and a Bye

Not the same. Now if it was accidental contact which can also be flagged ok that's would have been cheap. He purposely contacted a ref. Technicaly they could have tossed him now that might have been to much but the flag is right. Players can't be that stupid.

Division records for the Saints, Falcons, and Tampa Bay are all pretty close (within 2 games even if the Falcons win today). And there's a lot of season left.

Well Falcons going against Rodgers today, so you might get your wish with Saints moving up
