What a win for Dallas..so here we go again..Bring back Romo or go with Dak Texas
You have to...
You keep rolling with Dak without a doubt.
Need to stick with the hot hand, especially how the entire team has been responding to his play. All about chemistry and so far, Dak has done it.
^These gentlemen get it.
Good comeback win for Dallas last night, and I know a win is a win, but that was the first Dallas game this year where Dak Prescott
looked like a rookie. Jim Schwartz's blitz packages seemed to confuse Prescott. I can see teams continue to do this going forward, at least until Dez Bryant burns them deep.
And I don't want to complain after a win, but Prescott's game tying TD to Bryant was one of those Eli Manning "chuck the ball up and hope for the best" throws. Watching the replay again, the ball hung in the air and took forever to get there. The safety was a split second short and the corner actually had good coverage on Bryant. Dez just made a spectacular adjustment and catch.
RE Prescott's red zone INT, OC Scott Linehan has to put Prescott in a better position. There's no way Dallas should have gone with an empty backfield that close to the end zone. It's either a pass play or a QB draw. With a stud RB in Zeke and the BEST offensive line in football, Dallas needs to pound the rock into the end zone. With Elliot in the backfield, there are more options: run, pass, or QB draw keeper.
And Prescott could have potentially had a second red zone INT if Terrance Williams hadn't been smart enough to commit offensive PI (almost making up for his gaffe in the season opener against the Giants by not running out of bounds at the end of the game).
Along the lines of putting your team in a position to succeed, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson did his team a disservice by NOT using his timeouts before the end of regulation. Dallas had a third and long and were allowed to run out the clock. Take the timeout, force Dallas to run a play, take another TO, and have them punt to Darren Sproles.
But I'll take the win. Had to watch the game on the DVR and I was up to about 1:00 AM. Would have been pissed to stay up that long for a loss.
They need to start losing so Giants can win division.
Not this weekend against Cleveland, they're not.
(I probably just jinxed Dallas this weekend)
Jerruh has already said that Dak would start this weekend against Cleveland. No disrespect to Cleveland, they ARE still a professional football team, but why not let Tony Romo play to get some of the rust off,
should Dallas need him later in the season? Provided he is healthy enough to play and is cleared to play, of course.
