Can't believe that Cleveland is still mathematically in the playoff hunt.

I think the schedule of opponents for Ravens and Steelers were tough for both teams this season and the Bungles are unstable, that's why the AFC North is so bizarre.

Let's face it, the Pats had a simple schedule so far despite the Seattle loss and probably in the upcoming weeks the only challenge might be Baltimore. But Pats will be at home when they face the Ravens. Easy coast to the AFC Championship either way.

Dat Beckham dance.

Saw that! And loved it! Giants needed the win for sure especially with how the NFC East is looking right now. All teams above .500! Going to be a tough, tough competition to get the 5th and/or 6th seed in the playoffs especially with Dallas probably clinching the division, no doubt, with how they have been playing lately.

Good on Tony Romo for coming out and saying that he's willing to back up Dak Prescott and nipping any potential distraction in the bud. Team player and a class act.

Like I posted before, this has been a dream season for Cowboys fans so far. I know that there are still seven games left in the season to be played, and I wouldn't consider them Super Bowl favorites (Seattle has the experience in the NFC) but it's been a great ride so far especially after the disappointment of last year. I truly hope this season ends up in a Super Bowl victory with Tony going to a contender next year (Denver).

I just worry that if Dallas makes it to the Super Bowl to face New England, Bill Belichick is going to stack the line and force Dak to beat them. The Philly game showed that blitz packages can confuse him.

I'm shocked that Romo did that. It's pretty unheard of in the NFL.

I haven't watch video of it yet, but did read the transcript. I'm probably biased because I'm a Romo fan, but it seemed pretty sincere.

He probably knows his days are numbered and just doesn't want to cause a stink later

I think he can still play well for at least two, maybe three more years. ESPN reported that potential landing places are Chicago (why go there?), New York Jets (ditto), Denver (best case scenario, with that D) and possibly Arizona if Carson Palmer retires (intriguing).

If he's released outright, he's free to sign with any team, correct? Having to pass the waiver wire is only in season.

Yes. You only have to go through waivers if the player has less than 4 years of service time. A veteran cut during the season is automatically a UFA.

As for Romo, I really have to commend him with how he's taking this. Much better than Bledsoe did back in the day.

Romo has always been and will always be 100% class. Too bad he's spent most of his NFL career getting kicked in the nuts by fans.
