Harbaugh was real good at tailoring offenses, look what krapernick did under him. Smith was decent under harbaugh but he gets rattled and scared after taking big hits. Playoffs are all about big hits. You will see
Yeah but Kap didn't spend years getting beat to death on bad 9ers teams. All players get gunshy after that kind of treatment. Many good QBs are ruined by bad being drafted by bad teams. Anyone who truly think that Rodgers would be the same on the 9ers had they drafted him are dreaming.

Joe Montana was drafted by a bad team yet he won a superbowl the year following a 6-10 record with basically the same roster. He was blasted in 1980, his first year as a starter, he was absolutely demolished, always on his back, bloody noses and all. Back in those days they didn't protect the QB, way different then it was when Alex Smith was playing. Why wasn't Joe ruined?

Alex wasn't ruined it just took him a long time to learn the pro style offense, he wouldn't be in the league now doing what he is doing during the regular season if he was ruined. Again the problem with Alex is he is not a physically gifted QB, he doesn't have great accuracy on long throws and is always looking to check down or bail out when the pressure gets tough. He doesn't read the blitz or get rid of the ball fast enough most of the time. Alex is a game manager QB that is all, he cannot single handedly will his team to win with gutsy play, he is not like the elite QB's in the league

Plus the Steelers beat them in the playoffs last year just making field goals.

well it was a playoff game, thats what he does in the playoffs.. Thats why i said that the Chiefs will never win a SB with him. He was quoted before the season started that he believes this will be his last year with the chiefs. The QB behind him will be way better anyway.

Man this beat down by the Pack comes at a price with all these injuries :thud:

The bye will really help GB

To think, on the play right before, Adams had that TD on what I thought was a bad penalty call, he would've never gotten hurt......that douche bag Bears player should be suspended at least 4 games.

Gilmore has been an absolute mess in the secondary. Now I know why Bills fans didn’t care about losing this guy.

What is going on with the Ravens..granted it’s Pittsburgh but still :slap

Atlanta with Jones and Seanu both out :horror

Pats defense makes me :lol but with TB 12 you can still win games

Wow Pats losing at home again..that defense :slap This is why Pats better hope they don’t face KC or Denver at a possible AFC Championship matchup

Pats defense can’t match up with those two defenses

good to see Carolina starting to get in gear

Could be that the last two games are aberrations, but the Saints defense looks really impressive. First shutout for them in over 5 years.

Wow this Rams defense is making a statement..this new coach is a step in the future.

Meanwhile Dallas defense is so inconsistent it’s shocking :horror

Raiders vs Broncos..who’d thought this game would be huge :lol

Jeez..Jags should just move to London, seems that’s the only place they can win, in another time zone in a another country :lol

I think Arizona needs to get a mobile QB and some O line help ...jeez Carson takes sacks way too much :slap

The fact that their defense is performing better than their offense shocks the hell out of me. Good lord, the first half of today's game was ugly.
