Best thing happened for Giants ...fired that GM with Macadoofus :lecture

That GM was horrible for keeping Mcadoo for another season and not getting talent to help Eli

Let’s face it we all know benching Eli and still losing was the final nail in the coffin

Finally coach and GM are gone :yess:

Happy for Giants fans.

I don't believe in prolonging meaningless streaks if a player can't play at a high level, but Eli's starting streak ended because of an inept coach. He's supposedly being put back in the starting line up.

Man, what the hell was Gronkowski thinking? He doesn't have a history of being dirty, but that was a dirty play.

Total frustration at the officiating was the cause. Early in the game he was hit with a bs OPI call which has become common and in the play in question the refs could have called holding, illegal contact, or DPI. They called nothing the ball was intercepted and then Gronk did what he did.

In the end it was extremely dirty and unnecessary. If he ends up suspended a game, I think he deserves it. Now we wait to see what the league's wheel of random justice falls on.

Spags as interim coach..uh yeah, that’s the answer..remember his coaching of the Rams :slap

Giants last two SB wins overrated

Tyree miracle catch and defense was much better

It was time for Reese to hit the road as well..good move Mara :lecture

Hence the term "interim coach"...he's a stop gap until a new front office is in place and can take their time and get the guy they want. He's also currently under contract as well.

He’ll be tossed next season as well..meh

Next season..new GM

Result..Eli leaves, Beckham asks to be traded..see ya Giants :lecture

I guess Eli can consult big bro Peyton on giving it your all to a franchise that doesn’t help in return

He needs at least 2 games after appeal. That was so dirty and by using his robo arm brace to the head the guy went into concussion protocol. If they really are about protecting players that needs to drop the hammer.

Well the owner is just as to blame if not more than anyone.

What were the Colts supposed to do? He was coming off an injury that no one knew how it would go and had the #1 pick with a can’t miss QB available.

He definitely deserves either a huge fine or a couple games

Mannings just bring magic to a franchise no matter how the outcome..never mind the play of the qb, look how Denver is without Peyton, I don’t care if his playing before retirement wasn’t the best, they need that leadership and presence. Eli needs to be the QB , you don’t bench him when things are going south, in the off season which Reese didn’t do was strengthen the Oline and defense to say nothing to help the run game.

I think the Saints this season are a great example of you help your franchise QB in his later half of his career by getting the needed help. :lecture

Back to the season,

I have faith in the Eagles to at least make it to the NFC Championship . Yesterday, they lost, but that was the one game in Seattle that I didn’t think Philly could win.

Gronk needs to be suspended at least two games, not just one :pfft:

Giants fan here: I’m thrilled with the Monday Massacre aka firings this morning. I’ve wanted Reese long gone years ago since the last couple of years because he ignored the needs we have had at LBs, he failed to fix the offensive line and did not bring in a tall WR (Brandon Marshall? Oh please! We could have done better). Knew that the problems that weren’t fixed would be the downfall of the team and possibly Eli’s career with the Giants. Hard to see him wanting to stay and finish his career with them after all of this crap. I can see him going to Jags and reunite with TC. But I will still hope he stays and retire as a Giant. Will have to find out after they hire a new GM and the coach cause that will play a big role in what Eli will want to do next.

As for McAdoo- I do know for a fact that he was, still is, a very good offensive minded coach, but it is now obvious that he wasn’t ready for the HC job. He had a BIG shoes to fill in after TC left. He was rushed into that job for two reasons- 1. For Eli’s sake, just so they didn’t have to “re-build” the whole front office and the team with a brand new HC and 2. To prevent Philadelphia Eagles from landing him as their HC. Well this hasty move backfired on him and on the organization. Honestly I would think McAdoo probably could do a lot better in Philadelphia with Carson Wentz, after all he is a mobile QB and McAdoo’s offense system is built around a mobile QB. We all know what Eli is- a pocket passer. However Eagles is a HOT team with HC Doug Pederson so the whole thing with McAdoo-Philadelphia is merely a moot.

Oh well, now the search for a GM and HC begins!

:exactly: you get it! You don’t bench the franchise ..you help him in the off season by getting the help which Reese hasn’t done for years

Saints had an excellent showing yesterday. They benefited from many dropped passes by the Panthers, but Brees was back to form after taking a week off. And this is without their two starting DBs, one of whom is in consideration for defensive rookie of the year.

I got to tip my hat to Ingram. Here’s a guy that definitely went through his lumps when he joined the Saints, subpar performance his first couple of years , a lot of it do to injury, then he lost sufficient weight over the off seasons in his Saints career to start getting better , and then got blind sided with Saints getting Peterson in the offseason to be the #1 back , but of course that failed , but Ingram still rolled with the decision and now this surprising rookie in Kamara is balling stealing the thunder of Ingram , but he’s willing to work with the rookie, instead and now Ingram and the rookie are tearing it up and has made the Saints back to a playoff contender.

It’s nice to see Ingram was patient and still stuck it out with Saints and now he is rewarded by being a duel threat in the league with the rookie Kamara. :clap

Why does Gronk want to appeal..he’s suspended for the freakin Dolphins game :lol

It has to be the fact Steelers record in the AFC and the outcome if Steelers win tonight and if Pats lose against the dolphins. That has to be the reason.

those guys have done well for us this year, no doubt!

Yeah, he's a good fit at the moment. He's no Pierre Thomas, but who is?

The reason he's appealing? Money and there's also the NFLPA which would look down on not doing it.

They could lose next Monday, beat the Steelers and then have #1 seed thanks to the head-to-head victory.

That suspension is a joke. The Packers player got 2 games for a hit that was really a bang bang play. Gronk gets 1 for a flat out dirty POS hit on a player laying down on his stomach after the play was over. Gronk may want to sit out that next Bills game.
