But if he kept his head up and not launched at the guy he wouldn't have caused a PI because he wouldn't have hit him early because he would have seen what was going on.

i think he already knew he was going to hit him and dove to avoid him.

We have a climate controlled dome. :)

But the record this season speaks for itself, Vikes have won many on the road . However I just think Philly has the slight edge

RPO is not going to work for Foles against that Vikes defense though :panic:

Yeah, you and I know that watching at home. But if indeed happened as Jimmy Johnson said and the New Orleans coaches stressed to the secondary NOT to commit PI, they players may have taken it to heart. Who knows? :dunno

He would have been better off committing the Pi.

Yeah, at least make Kai Forbath make the FG.

Oh I thought you were just talking about today's game. Yes I agree and it'll definitely be a tough battle in Philadelphia.

Can't ****ing believe it! The Vikings were choking like usual and this happened.

OMG I'm so happy and stunned! GO VIKINGS!

I think the media is going overboard with this ..yes it was a fantastic finish. But this wasn’t the SB or even the NFC Championship..if Philly beats them next week..then what?

I don’t agree they are saying this is the greatest moment in Vikings history. :dunno

lol if this isn't the greatest moments in Vikings history, what is?

Maybe if the win next week or possibly the SB..I think there is more moments to come .

The Vikes themselves are taking the right approach..great win..put it behind them ..prepare for Philly.

Soooo...you’re saying the greatest moment in Vikings’ history is something that hasn’t happened yet, and may or may not happen.

Well considering how all of our seasons have ended in the past (and I do mean *all* previous seasons, we're the oldest team in the league that doesn't have a Super Bowl ring) it's a good bet that this will be the greatest moment in team history for the foreseeable future.

The Lions have 30 years on the Vikings and haven't even been to a Super Bowl yet. They do however have 4 titles from before the merger.

The only other "great" Vikings moment was the Ahmad Rashard catch vs Cleveland to win the division. So I guess this can top that.

Isn’t Philly in the same boat though :dunno

Yup. Eagles, Browns, Lions, and the Cardinals are some of the oldest teams in the league without SB titles. The Vikings fit more in with the AFL teams that have never won like the Bills, Chargers, Titans (Oilers) coming into existence around 1960.

Diehard Giants fan here. I was so thrilled the Vikings won!! Watching Stefon Diggs taking it to the house was awesome!! Now I mean it when I say this...the Vikings better take care of the business next weekend and beat the Eagles! Go Vikings!

How about that coaching carousel huh?! I knew it would be tough for the Giants to get the man they wanted which was Matt Patricia. I knew it wouldn’t happen. Now it’s down to Vikings OC Pat Shurmur and Patriots OC Josh McDaniels. It’s no brainer that McDaniels would probably go to the Colts instead. Shurmur could possibly choose the Cardinals. I can see the repeat of 1993 happening here. What happened was that no top candidates wanted to coach the Giants and former Broncos HC Dan Reeves had to call Mara to offer his service and they hired him. Now this ongoing situation right now is kinda similar. Giants is in a bad place, I hate to admit it, but it’s true. Eli is in the back 9 of his career. The locker room is divided and full of toxic. I’m looking at John Mara as the man responsible for putting the Giants in a very bad spot and it all started back when he pushed Tom Coughlin out the door and the house of cards came crashing down. This is on Mara.

For the AFC and NFC championship games, I’m rooting for the Jaguars (of course!) and the Vikings! [emoji482]

Brady must be licking his chops. The only thing stopping him from another SB appearance is Bortles and the Jags. Then if he gets there, the only thing stopping him from securing his 6th ring is Philly and their back up QB or the Vikes and their journeyman QB.
