All three years FULLY guaranteed, too. Has that ever been done in the NFL.

Oh, $84 million, by the way.

So he'll make, between his franchise tenders and Vikings deal, about $128M over 5 years. When this contract expires he'll only be 32. His story financially is basically the NFLPA's wet dream.

Danny Amendola to the Dolphins. Five years ago I never thought losing DA would sting, but it does. The guy was absolutely clutch on the way to 2 SB titles and close to another.

Green Bay releases Jordy Nelson and will sign Jimmy Graham.

Hmmm...not the worst move, but I think Jordy's injuries where getting in the way lately. At least they are getting Graham.

Hopefully this frees up some money to get some defensive players and OLinesmen

Nate Solder to the Giants. Tough loss, great guy as well as a solid tackle. But if he's going to be the highest paid tackle in football, I could see why the Pats passed.

Wow, Butler, Amendola, Dion Lewis, and now Solder...I guess since they already have rings, they want to get paid now. Totally understandable.

I don't blame any of them. With NFL careers being as short as they are, you need to cash in when given the opportunity. Sadly the Pats only have $23 million free to play with. Some these guys are "name" players, but I'm not hitting the panic button any time soon.
