Yep, there is such a thing as addition by subtraction. Peters was quickly becoming too big of a headache. Also, if I recall correctly, he's up for a contract in a year or so as well, and the cost may have been too prohibitive for the Chiefs.

I guess it's an illustration of how things are going to change now. Maybe in 5 years they'll retroactively tell us that cheating is wrong, and the bulk of New England's championship wins shouldn't have happened.

Apparently Richard Sherman has been saying goodbye to teammates over the last 24 hours... No word on if it's a trade or if he's just being released. With him and Kam probably done I guess it's time to officially retire the LOB.

It is amazing how the Seahawks went from a potential dynasty to rebuilding so quickly. They have a franchise QB so it's not out of the question they fix things faster than other teams.

If not for a boneheaded play call by Darrell Bevelle and great defensive play by Malcolm Butler, Seattle may have been back to back Super Bowl champs.

Sherman is getting banged up, and has a big salary. I get the release of him. I am already prepared to ***** about the Pats getting him for pennies on the dollar somehow.
