Ravens, Colts and Bears back in the Playoffs how cool is this

Broncos, Steelers, Packers, Falcons, Panthers out :horror

So Vikings get Cousins and don’t make it to the playoffs :lecture

Well that dangling shoulder of Miller’s looked cringe worthy for Bears :horror

Bears were down their top 3 receivers against the Vikes. Glad they were able to grind them up a bit with the running game. Bears gashed the Vikes on 3rd down conversions. I think that the Bears were 8/12 on 3rd downs. That killed the Vikes today. Hopefully the Bears WRs will be able to go on Sunday. Taking on the defending champs will be no picnic.

All mediocre things must come to an end, Marvin Lewis is finally done in Cincinnati.

:fireworks

Why do I get the sinking feeling he will end up with a job with Arizona, Broncos, Miami, maybe not as a coach but in the organization

What do you guys think of Mike Mayock as GM for Raiders :horror

Packers need a coach that will clean house but keep Rodgers and Cobb . That team needs a complete overhaul

Agree. But they also need to look at their front office. You can't draft mediocre players, thinking Rogers can save the day constantly. He's getting old, and is already on the downhill slide toward retirement, and none of these new players have really stepped up. They need a Defensive overall (including firing that new D. Coach -- who fell back into Capers-style play calling), an O-Line that can protect the QB (Bulaga & Bakhtiari should have been let go years ago -- they either get penalties or their injured -- both too old to continue to play that position). And they need to get rid of Mathews and get some young buck who really goes after the QB. As long as they keep picking the wrong players, the Packers are going to continue to go downhill. That whole team has relied on ONE guy to carry the team for the last 5 years and it hasn't worked. And the last 2 years have proven that. Without Rogers, they have nothing -- particularly since they were dumb enough to get rid of Nelson and Clinton-Dix. The people running that organization are worse then the players.

Aaron is ready for another SB, but if you don’t give him weapons or a defense of course the burden of winning games by himself will drag him down. Mathews gone would free a ton of money to draft or get FA for defense, then the Oline needs to be revamped and then they need a running game..like I said, a complete rebuild needs to happen

Mccarthy was too old school and each season did little to nothing in changes . The new coach has to be willing to completely rebuild the Pack otherwise they won’t make it to another SB.

Aaron Rodgers is the problem, not the solution. He quit on his coach and turned the team against him. He thinks he calls the shots and runs the organization. He's gotten too big for his britches. He's the most overrated QB in the league and everyone makes excuses for him.....his O line sucks, the D sucks, not enough talent, bad coaching, bad drafting, etc... It's become a damn joke. Here's the facts. In 2011 he was on the best team in football. They had a 15-1 record and home field throughout the playoffs. They were the most talented and best team in football. What did they do? Got rolled over and smoked by the Giants in their first playoff game. In 2014 they had enough talent to get to the NFC championship game and blew a 16-0 lead in that game. Everyone blamed the D, special teams, and coaching for the loss. However, the medias darling Rodgers had 2 INTs in the game. One was in the end zone to Sherman. Miraculously, those picks had nothing to do with the loss though. I believe that the media and fans blamed it on everyone else but Rodgers. Let's also not forget how old man Warner outplayed Rodgers in the Packs 2009 playoff game with the Cardinals. Kurt tossed 5 TDs and no INTs while Rodgers had 4 TDs and a pick. As if that's not funny enough...then we get old man Carson Palmer and the Cardinals knocking Rodgers and the Pack out in 2015. What a joke! The excuses for Rodgers inability to win in the playoffs have gotten ridiculous. Here's a stat I just heard a week ago that is astounding. When Rodgers is playing a team that has winning record (at the time he's playing that team) and he is behind at the start of the 4th quarter, he has an 0-37 record. That's a joke. Everyone remembers the miracle hail mary finishes against crappy teams like the Lions or the Bears but seem to forget or give him a pass on all the games he's choked on against good teams.

Bottom line, the Packers are paying 33.5 million a year to an aging overrated QB. The Pack can't keep or sign any quality free agents because they can't afford them with Rodgers bloated salary. They can't fit any top free agents under their salary cap. Why do you think Clinton-Dix was traded? Because they couldn't fit the money he was going to get on a new contract under their salary cap and didn't want to lose him for nothing. So, the Pack will continue to pay 33.5 million to an aging QB who can't beat winning football teams and pray he can hold up a whole season without getting injured. The media will continue to suck him off and call him the best QB of all time while he loses games that really matter. Meanwhile, the real GOAT will be working on getting to his 9th Superbowl.

Best quote in a long time, well said

I wouldn’t want to play either AFC wildcard teams. Colts have been on a roll all second half of the season and the Chargers have second best record in the AFC.
