Now the 72 Dolphins will start talking ???? since there's only one undefeated team. Please, please, please Colts go undefeated and win it all so I never have to hear Mercury Morris again.

Yeah im very close to driving to those ????ers houses and punching them in the nuts.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Eagles lose tomorrow because they are playing a ????ty team that they should kill. They are known for losing those games. However, I think they will win. I just wouldn't be shocked if they didn't.

Eagles will win going away.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if my Vikes laid another egg on national TV against the Panthers.

Yep! The Saints just proved they can't win a huge game. Good luck in the playoffs. Let the big boys play Saints. :lol
Well, I guess the big primetime games earlier this years against at the time undefeated Giants and Pats didn't mean anything.

Anyway, the Saints played poo tonight. Defense didn't come to play, offense lacked balance, Peyton seemed to panic and stop running the ball when we were down by 14 right near half time, as if there was only 5 minutes left in the game. Still, we had a shot at the end. I agree that the Saints can't play like this in the playoffs and win, and our defense will need a "come to Jesus" type change to have a shot. But. . .who knows?

As for wanting the Saints to lose so their fans will know that they aren't that good, that's ridiculous. The Saints have a damn good offense, a $h!t defense, and average special teams. What does that mean? Most reasonable Saints fans will realize that they can lose. Any team can on the wrong day. But to say they aren't good is just being disingenuous. I don't care what your schedule is or how you win--13 wins and 1 loss means you are an exceptionally good football team, period.

Hahaha! What is the Pats and Giants records this year? The Giants! Seriously! Hahaha! Keep giving yourself a chance.

You're right, 13-1 is 13-1 no matter how you get there. The Saints are an excellent team. They will wrap up the #1 seed which means one thing:

The road to the Super Bowl goes through the Super Dome.

One thing though. The Saints just proved they can be beaten at home.

If you are saying that those 2 games weren't "huge games" at the time, then you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not defending the Saints tonight. They sucked. But you are over-simplifying things to say that the Saints haven't been able to handle pressure this year.

Ok, IMO the pressure doesn't kick in until you start playing "must" win games. Neither of those were such. So yes I know what I'm talking about. As I said, they will lose the first game they play in the playoffs. They aren't ready for big games.

You are right, playoffs are big games, and if any team knows how to handle the biggest of the big playoff games, it is the Eagles, right? :D

That was low. I apologize.

Why would you apologize. If you were to look at their records in the past ten years you would see that they have won more playoff games then almost any other team. ;)

Yeah. . .and they promptly lose the biggest playoff games. This has been discussed here before, but the Eagles as the poster child team for losing the "big game." They get to the NFC championship game over and over, year after year, and lose. They finally get to the Superbowl, and lose. :lol

Saints are extremely overrated it's about time they didn't get lucky with another win and lost a game.

Nahhh he just doesn't know how many playoffs games the Eagles have won in the past 10 years. It's ok. Back to school he goes.

C'mon, man. You can quote playoff wins until the cows come home, but if you don't have any Lombardis to back it up, no one's going to remember.

I agree with FQR that the championship is all that matters. If you want to define success as playoff wins narrowly so that it benefits your team, that's fine, but I could give two craps about playoff wins without the "big win."

If your Eagles somehow defy the past and win big when it really matters this year, then I'll give them all the credit in the world. If the Saints blow it in their first game, first no one will be less surprised than me, but ultimately I'll agree with you 100% that the Saints were not prepared to win.

However, to narrowly define "winning pressure games" to only playoff games or games leading up to the playoffs (I guess?) but not the biggest playoff games--so that it benefits your team and not mine at this particular point in time--is a bit of a weak argument in my opinion.
