You have to be insane to remain a Saints fans after what "we've" been through :lol

And though I didn't care before, let me return the sentiment and say that I also will enjoy seeing "your" Eagles spectacularly fail like the stinking choke-bags that they always have been :wave

If it is insane being a Saints fan...then I am! I always will be a fan. I've seen the bad and good seasons since first loving the Saints as a boy in 1975. You, like me have been through the "thick and the thin" with this team. And we're still here. Fans to the end. :D

Now the Saints need to lose one more for the Vikes :)

Go Vikings tonight clinch the North!

(seriously though, if the Vikes don't make it to the bowl i hope the Saints do)

You just can not beat a cold Sunday with chili in the slow cooker, chicken wings in the fryer, snow on the ground, and football on the tube!

Dallas didn't play particularly well last night in my opinion. They did in the first quarter. . .but that loss falls squarely on the Saints' shoulders. 17 points? Not gonna work with that defense.

I give Dallas the first half, the second half seemed like they came out tired, but they did beat the saints, now people will jump on the cowboys bandwagon

I bet that chili was the cause of your signature pic. :lol

:lol:lol:rotfl

Love them bacon strips!

I sure hope they send me some decent games today. C'mon Vikings! Lose, ya bums! :D

Why you................:monkey4.....................:D

Ahhh, the old "the other team didn't beat us, we beat ourselves" mantra. Give the Cowboys credit man, they won fair and square.

Fair enough. The Cowboys deserve serious credit for doing what they had to do. . .but recall that they only scored 10 points against the crappy Saints D in the last 3 quarters of play. During that same time, the Saints played a panicked, one-dimensional offense that I feel kept them out of the game. Peyton contributed heavily to the loss by not trying to produce a more balanced offense. This has been a very disturbing trend over the last several weeks.

We've had 2 straight years of Drew Brees throwing the ball 70% of the time, and where did it get us? Nowheresville.

The Cowboys might not scored much in the 2nd half but they sure as hell worked the clock to their advantage. First drive in the 3rd quarter was 7 minutes long. You beat the Saints by keeping Brees on the bench....and on his back.:lol

LOL...

On a different note...I think that next year, I am going to host a football party at least once for any of the freaks that want to come over. It'll be an overnighter, though. Because I AM a little out of the way just for anyone to come over for a beer, wings and a day of football.

Do you live anywhere near San Diego?

Or getting him to throw 80+% of the time through the game, which contributes to the Saints offense staying on the bench and Brees being on his back as the defense figures out precisely what the Saints are doing. ;)

Again, the Cowboys did as you say and had some long drives in the 3rd and 4th quarter, and they deserve credit for that (not that putting together long drives against the Saints D is particularly difficult--the Redskins and backups in Atlanta did the same). But the Saints offense is better than that and should have scored much more frequently than they did. The offensive gameplay precluded that, in my opinion.. Their defense is playing as pitifully as anyone at this point in the year. So, the offense has to win the games, period, and becoming 1-dimensional won't work against even a half-way competent NFL defense, I don't care if you are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Drew Brees.
