Maybe so, but I'm pretty sure Bolt does that because that best allows him to win. If it was in a sprinter's interest to sprint out ahead right out of the gate, I'm sure he could do that as well as anyone. In any case, if this would ever happen (40 yard, 80 yard, 100 yard/meter, etc.), I would surely take that bet!

They were talking during the Olympics about how it was surprising how fast he was in the 100m in spite of his start. Thats is the reason he was a 200m/400m guy until he convinced his coach to let him try the 100m. If you watch his is usually mid pack around 20-30m then he gets his long stride going and he just runs past everyone like they are jogging. Normally the start is the difference between winning and losing but not for him.

I dont know who would win but think it would be a great race.

Please excuse Eagles fans for not posting.

Give them a moment to remove the Cowboy boots from their asses.

I don't post when I have nothing to post about. I also don't talk ???? because I know better.:lol I do like their chances next week, just because no one will be expecting them to win, but if they get their asses kicked again it won't surprise me either. This is a team that only scored 9 points against the ????ing Raiders. :lol:lol:lol

It's all in good fun. Keith knows it to because he's a cool guy. Just think when the Cowboys come up to Minnesota and beat us. Imagine the s hit storm I'll be taking.:lol It's part of the friendly trash talkin' that goes on in this thread. Best thread on this board by the way.:duff

He still here just posts much less

So did he just get fed up with all the nattering nabobs of negativity?:dunno

Has this ever happened before? Two rematches in the same places for the wild card round. That is crazy.

I do remember it happening once back in the late 90s. Can't remember the year or the teams.

I know it is. I just don't like to look like a dumb ass like Keith.:lol:lol:lol

I have to give Chris Johnson props, to be on a team that started so bad and to still end up with over 2000 yrds and break Marshall Faulks record of yards from scrimage.

In week 3 this season my wife was offered Chris Johnson for Marion Barber. She wasn't sure and I told her to do it... she won the championship. :)

What's with all the hate from the land of purple Princes and purple people eaters? If the Eagles weren't good the Vikes wouldn't have a coach.
If the end of this season has taught us anything it's that no one is unbeatable. How many times did the Saints lose in the dome the last 3 games? The Vikes haven't exactly been unbeatable, every team that beat the Bears in Chicago this season raise your hands - not so fast, Minnesota.

Surely, an NFL athlete will train differently, have different strengths and weaknesses, etc., so maybe Johnson does have more of an initial "burst." I know the track guys sometimes have difficulty in the NFL because they can't stop and start. So, who knows? I didn't initially hear the caveat about the racing in a 40 yard dash, but I still think it is more than a little optimistic to say anyone can beat the "fastest man in the world" in a race.

It was a factor.

I suppose you have the inside scoop on some dude known as Darth Loki too? You don't have to answer, I'll just assume you know.:lol

Though I just joined last October, I've been a lurker since 2005. It seems like some veteran board members just dropped ought of sight, like Captain Faramir.

Not to be confused with the Eagles losing in Oakland. Love the trash talkin' friend. Please post more often.

BTW, we win inspite of our coach, Col. Klink.
