They'll be back alright....to choke once again. The Chargers are quickly becoming the Atlanta Braves of the NFL. They can win their division but that's about it.:monkey5

:rotfl :rotfl Not much validity since this comment is coming from a raiturds fan!:rotfl :rotfl

Yeah, what was up with all those penalties!? :banghead Did we not feel we had enough of a challenge? We hadn't been doing that crap all year long, and suddenly we hit our first playoff game and we can't hold it together? :(

It was just youth showing the inexperience, IMO.

If Rivers isn't experienced enough now, when will he be? I know he isn't the only problem you are referring to, but most people seem to think that he is the best player on the team, and a leader, but he acts like a spoiled brat all the time. I think a lot of the Chargers problems follow from that type of behavior and mentality. The coach doesn't seem to be a real leader, the QB doesn't seem to be a real leader, so when crunch time comes, no matter the level of power in the engines, who is steering the boat?

You'll get a pass because that's my boy on the cover, Ken "The Snake" Stabler. I'm going to track down a copy of that issue.

I've never trusted a Norv Turner or Marty Schottenheimer led team when it comes to the playoffs.

Damn, there's so much talent on the Chargers though. Still love them only after my Vikes.

As a Raiders fan from the 70s, there's no doubting their rich and glorious history.

But come on man, in the present day there's no hope for this franchise until Al Davis gives up ownership of the team. No hope at all.

He could get lucky. . .who knows?

Also, remember that the Raiders were very good in the early 2000s. If not for the "tuck rule" BS, they might well have won it all that year.

Name one team that has not gone through ups and downs. The Raiders are just stuck in the downs right now.:monkey2

Oakland Raiders:

1. No head coach takes that job seriously

2. Past 8 years of futility

3. Bad draft day decisions

4. Wasted money in free agent blunders

5. Bad trades

6. Laughingstock of the league

7. Utter dysfunction

8. Perpetual rebuliding

9. Too many of his friends in management report to him

10. Al Davis, a once bold innovator and maverick has been reduced to a cartoonish clown

~No other team in the NFL has this combination of problems.

Sorry man, this hurts this 70s Raiders fan also. :monkey2
