Now that I have had a chance to regain my composure a bit. . .damn that was a ____ty game. It really was a crap shoot how it would turn out, given how sloppy both teams were playing toward the end there. I honestly don't think either team deserved to win, but in the NFL, you have to take these wins with the clear, decisive ones. This is so freakin' unbelievable that the Saints are gonna be in the Superbowl.

Brees played like poo for the second half.

I'll be picking the Colts to win the Superbowl but I'll be pulling for the Saints just because they've been bad so long. But either way it doesn't matter to me personally, I just hope it's a good game.

Both teams sucked tonight, but the Vikings sucked slightly worse!

I think I have an ulcer now that's to that game, INTENSE!

I'm stoked they won, obviously, though they barely scraped through. They got lucky since they were not the team they were last week. They really need to step it up for Miami...

As to the BS calls, there were bad calls all around and they lost some calls as well so it's a wash in my opinion. That's the game, in the end it all comes down to judgment...

Yeah, I will admit that some of the questionable calls went the Saints way (particularly the pass interference in OT), but all in all I think it was a pretty badly officiated game that affected both teams, as others have said.

And let me say that as happy as I am, I'm sad that the Vikings had to lose to the Saints, and I feel bad for the fans. Even though Favre's indecision about playing, etc. got really old as a story, I've always been a fan of his, and would hate it if his career ended in a game getting beat up (sometimes cheaply, I'll admit), and throwing an INT as his last pass. It was a pretty good story, and I would have enjoyed cheering for him against the Colts.

However, the turnovers were pretty inexcusable, even though the Saints are exceptionally good at getting turnovers (only damn thing our defense does well, honestly). If you can't hold onto the ball and are throwing INTs, as another person previously said, you really don't deserve to win.

i missed the 2nd half of the vike/saint game cause of work, but from what i am reading here, i prolly would be really pissed off if i saw what i am reading to be true. i'm not a vike fan but i was really pulling for favre to win another title.

but with all that behind, i think the saints got no defense and Peyton will pick them apart.......the only person i really dont care for on the saints is bush............i was laughing my ass off when he dropped the punt, then the vikes turned it over

Bush's fumble was vintage Bush. Last week was an aberration, this game was more representative of what he has given the Saints over the last few years. He is a high risk/high reward kind of guy, and has frustrated the heck out of me with his stupid turnovers.

I agree. I couldn't believe they kept him in the game, but then. . .he did score 3 times. Just like Reggie Bush--high risk/high reward, and I guess the coach figures the upside outweighs the downside. But personally, I would be a bit more conservative and sit his ass on the bench for good after the second fumble, anyway.

Yeah, we got some "gifts" from the Vikings with the turnovers tonight. We were able to capitalize on most of them, but not all of them. I'm glad that we did!

I was going to pull for the Saints if they beat the Vikings, but they didn't deserve to win that game like that. That is the worse officiated game I've seen in 28 years of NFL football. I'm sure all the Saints fans will stand up for the team and disagree, but you all can go sit on a cucumber if you didn't see that as some cheap ass ____ throughout the games entirety. The OT was the icing on the cake. The refs marched them right down the field. ____ the Saints, especially that thug #93. I hope the Falcons take a ____ on your chocolate city next year.

Like I am really going to let your ______ comments go without replying to them?! I DON'T THINK SO! The officials sucked. Officiating for both teams. There were some "booth reviews" that I didn't agree with. I'm standing up for my Saints of course! THE SAINTS DID DESERVE TO WIN, AND THEY WON! Our kicker redeemed himself in our eyes tonight! Our team played VERY hard, and gave it their all. I am VERY proud of them! I'm thrilled that they are going to their first Super Bowl! Now both #1 seeds in the NFC and AFC will play in the Super Bowl.

Your team (Falcons I presume?) is the one sitting down watching my team go to the Super Bowl! We won 13 games in a row. The Falcons did not! We won the N.F.C. South, and the N.F.C. Division titles! The Falcons had trouble winning a handful of games this season! So you really DO NOT have any room to talk _____ to anyone! We'll be ready for your "dirty birds" next season and beat them again like we did this season!
