Haven't been relevant? They get more press than many good teams.

........I guess, if you count that press as being relevant, but I meant that they haven't been a successful team in any shape or form since then. Wouldn't that be more important than having constant press coverage about Oak fans shooting opposing fans, drafting dead beat players and having coaches that assault their co-workers? If that's the case, then I guess they belong back in LA cause they have a lot in common with the Dodger fans. I know, sounds harsh, but that's how I see it .

No team can be great all the time. The Raiders had 4 good decades and decided to take the last decade off. Not quite as long as San Fran has taken off though, lol.

I will admit if he plays that way this season I would wager the Kolb deal was a bad one. Time will tell. The Eagles Are no dream team.

true, but all that mystique they had is long gone imo. I'm not saying that their titles mean nothing, but the team and their fans have a bad reputation and have had it for awhile, that's why they can't keep good players; I'm sure Davis has a lot to do with that as well. The 9ers have sucked too, but it feels like that team has hope, but yea, they suck just as bad, but they don't have Davis running things.

your lucky nobody on that team guaranteed a title and they didn't have a parade, or else there would be Miami Heat type heat on Phi. One or two great players on a football roster isn't a big deal like the NBA.

They have way more than one or two great players. They just need to form a team out of them. Next season is superbowl time IMO. Not this season. It will take a while to tie it all together. They will go far, but they aren't ready yet. I will be happy to be wrong however.

yep, same with Baseball. Doesn't matter how much talent you have, it takes a lot more than that.

Who are these good players they can't keep you're speaking of? Nnamdi and Miller leaving were salary cap issues, not because they didn't want to be there.

And who exactly is running the 49ers? Some 29 yr old that doesn't have a clue either...at least Al can blame his stupidity on Dementia.
