Yeah, and the Saints hadn't proven that they could run the ball in those kinds of situations. But. . .Saints don't deserve to win if they play as sloppily as they did tonight IMO. GB played very well IMO, except on defense.

Great Game!! That's Football baby! :clap:clap

Go Pack! Dreeeew! love both teams bring on the season! I'm ready!!!

See Darren you leave that idiot Norv Turner, and you become a star!!! Saints will bounce back!

Smart LT and Sproiles leaving SD , Chargers want the Lombardi, they got to ditch Norv!

I have to admit that it was a great game despite the fact that I do not like offensive games.

Especially when the fantasy team you're playing this week owns Brees. :( :lol

It was a good ol' fashion offensive shoot-out. Great to watch, but not so great for my fantasy team. :lol

What is un-freakin'-believable is that in my league, the Packers' "D" gave up 34 points, 477 yards of offense, and still scored 15 points...which is good for defense/special teams.

I am glad the fantasy team I played this week didn't have anyone in tonight's game.

And the Saints' "D" did about as well giving up 42/399 and still scored 14.75 points.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! Football is here and what a way to kickoff the season. Both QBs had great games and glad that N.O. made it interesting at the end.

anybody else find it completely stupid that all the football analysts are already saying the Colts are done and the season will be a waste before they have even played a game? These guys come off as a bunch of idiots sometimes. It drives me nuts, not to mention the hours of football coverage from one good game.

I don't openly admit this, but I seriously thought about taking the Colts in my pick'em pool this week. I don't think it is going to be as bad as many do.

Like me. And it seems like he has 80% of the Saints so I am down by 98 points after one game. :)

I hear you there. :gah:

That's what sucks about playing against Brees when he's up against a notoriously high-scoring potential like Rodgers and company. He always finds a way to answer and knocks that deficit down quick with that arm of his. :(

I saw it coming early when the Pack went up 14-0. Brees and that arm always have an answer. It may not win the game, but he'll do everything he can to keep it close. And my fantasy team paid for it. I almost like seeing him play a crappy offensive team the week I go up against him because there's no pressure for him to keep stride. He's way too dangerous in situations like these.

:lol That is crazy. This was hard for me to watch tonight. I was cringing everytime Brees hit the field. (I'm a Packers fan AND I was playing against Brees.)

My fantasy team only had Jennings playing for me tonight, who did okay. I admire what Rodgers can do with the offense, all of the options, etc. etc., but I kept saying...'just chuck it to Jennings!!!' :lol It seemed like the entire Packer offense scored tonight. My only regret is that Jennings didn't produce another touchdown, but I've still got time to make it up on Sunday.

Brady is my QB, so I'm hoping he can rip the Dolphins a new one, in the passing yards department. (No offense to Dolphins fans. I just need some points desperately. :lol)
