Saints...21
Rams....31

This game will rank #2 on the embarrassment meter this year behind Oakland being shutout 28-0 by the Chiefs. :slap

It seems like the Saints put up 2 stinkers every year.

This Saints game ranks ahead of the Oakland shutout by KC.

The Saints lost to a team with ZERO wins and aren't even in the same class as the Saints. Oakland lost to a .500 team that's a division rival and when Oakland was starting Kyle Effin Boller and a rusty Carson Palmer.

Well, that was humbling. I'd didn't buy the Steelers as contenders in the conference, but I can see it now.

The AFC remains a confusing mess and still seems to me to be a competition to see who will lose to Green Bay in February.

Wrong. The Chiefs were 2-3, not .500 when they played Oakland. Furthermore, those 2 wins were against a bad Minnesota team and a winless Colts team.

Oakland lost at home to the Chiefs, the Saints lost on the road.

Everyone has injuries. No excuses please.

Pretty inexcusably bad game played by the Saints. Really strange offensive calls when they were down by 3 scores in the 4th quarter and run the ball 3 times in a row then punt. 2009 was the perfect storm, but every other year under Payton/Brees they've had a tendency to be very uneven from week to week.

I agree! Hopefully the Saints won't have any more "stinkers" this season. After the slaughter of the winless Colts last Sunday night, I was expecting another one. But not for my team to be slaughtered by a winless team hungry for their first win. :horror I guess the Cardinals winning the World Series really injected the Rams with some "home team" juice or something. I miss Coach Peyton being ON the field. I've seen a big difference after today. He and Brees usually share a brain on the sideline. I also agree that the plays for most of the game for the Saints were very dull, and nonproductive. :dunno Why keep going to the running game, if you don't have one for this game? Drew seemed very uneasy in the pocket, and the offensive line caved in around him nearly every play! Our excellent punter Thomas Morestead has his FIRST blocked punt of his entire career...today! Steven Jackson chopped up our defense nearly every time he ran the ball! Saints it's time now to fix the holes in your ship before it starts to sink. A VERY embarassing and disappointing loss. The Saints were 17 point favored to win over the Rams. Time to file this one as karamazov80 says as "stinker" #2 (hopefully the last one!). Now it's "on to the next" Saints, and you MUST be prepared for the Bucs next Sunday at the Superdome. All of your fans are concerned, and I'm one of them. You're still my favorite team Saints, and always will be. You have the talent, and the ability to play SO MUCH better than you did today! This was the most embarassing and shocking loss under Coach Peyton's team so far. Time to fix the problems, and move on...fast.

Whatever happens the rest of the year is just gravy for me as an Eagles fan. Why?

Because they beat the shat out of the Dallas Cowgirls!!!

Just like the NFC was for the Patriots in '07? Green bay is just winning the games they're supposed to. Still a lot of ball left to be played, and a lot of teams in both conferences are just finding their stride and only getting better. In this League, I wouldn't be surprised to see Green Bay be one-and-done as the #1 seed in the NFC play-offs. This sport is honestly anyone's game come play-off time.

Wow! How bad is it when you lose a snap? Then lose to the Chiefs. :lol

I dont know you tell me how bad it is to fumble the ball going in for a chance to win the game.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.:slap:slap:slap

Wow the term "Fear the Beard" is really working in Sports nowadays, Giants winning the World Series because of Wilson. This year Jason Motte got the last out for the Cards to win the World Series and now Todd Haley winning with the ugly beard. :lol

I wouldn't know. I don't play in the NFL. But I guess it's pretty damn bad. Probably wouldn't have happened if Tebow was playing. :lecture

San Diego.....20
Kansas City...23 OT

As someone who has always been a Chargers fan, I have to admit this.

Over the last 5 years, no team in the NFL has wasted more talent. :thud:
