Just a quiet week. Nothing much happened with the Pats except for that idiot Julian Edelman getting in trouble on Halloween.:slap

You mean Belichick didn't start cutting all of his linebackers and start ruining the second-level of that D, since he already destroyed the secondary? And Welker needs to keep his mini-me in line, damn it!!

Thinking about picking NY over NE for my upset pick in my company pick 'em. How are feeling about this game? Normally, I'd go with the Pats, but the Giants can bring a pretty good pass rush and Eli could have a good day against the afore-mentioned Pats secondary. Is Hakeem Nicks confirmed to be out?

Raiders sign TJ Whosyermama.....hmmm. If they play his as a #2 WR it could work. He's horrible as the #1 WR.
He's a pretty good slot receiver. He can make some tough catches and get some nice extra yardage. Well, at least he used to be able to. Palmer had a decent receiving corp with him and Chris Henry. Heck, they actually made Blowcho-stinko look decent. When Who's-your-momma left, and Henry had his accident, that's when people saw Blowcho for what he really was, and Palmer just gave up.

:lol Steelers!

But fandom aside, you have to admit that Belichick has done a pretty crappy job with that D since his studs like Bruschi, Vrable, R. Harrison, Samuel, Seymoure and such left. Never thought I'd say that he's put out a piss-poor defense.

Yeah, Belichick came up as a defensive coordinator so I'm surprised he's let things slip recently in New England.

Completely useless fact: In the history of Gillette Stadium 1 NFC team has won there. The 2002 Packers.

I want to say the Pats since it's a home game and they rarely lose 2 in a row, but I'd lean more towards the Giants. They have a pass rush that can give Brady fits and on offense they should air it out and take advantage of ____ty secondary. As for Nicks most reports I've read have him as out at the moment.

Even worse is that he's the GM too. These are completely the players he chose. Things went much better when Scott Pioli was still with the team and they bounced ideas off one another. The current Falcons GM was also instrumental in the early 2000s drafts. There was definitely a decline there when he left after 2007.

I'm always against coaches being GMs also. It seems like it rarely works. The Vikes haven't had a real GM since Jim Finks in the 70s.....in other words, the glory years. :monkey2
