Uhm....bring on the 'Boys & Bucs! :lol:rotfl:lol

You should have watched the New Orleans Bowl....it was an awesome game. Came down to a 50 yard FG as time expired.

Thank you Detroit for coming back on Oakland and keeping Denver up by a game!

Thank you Raiders secondary for ignoring Megatron on the last two drives.:slap

On the bright side, I have Megatron on my fantasy team and he led me to the win in the playoffs, lol.

That lions game was amazing!!!!! Breaking records once again for comebacks baby!!! What a fun season to be a Lions fan...(finally)

Why doesn't the NFL make that cut-blocking illegal? Just watched Baltimore's O-line do one and that's just as bad as chop-blocking.

I'm loving it! :) Jared Allen on the radio called getting off at our airport, and the drive from the airport to downtown New Orleans here (back in 2009!) "a third world country". It really ticked us off! Time to eat your words!

There are no "burned down" houses near our airport Jared Allen as you said on your radio show this week! There wasn't in 2009, and there isn't now.

Another great game for the Saints! Keep it going! Drew's having another incredible game. A few penalties here and there. Saints halfback Jed Collins already has two holding penalties. He needs to really watch that.

Geaux Saints! :yess:
In fairness, N.O. is a city that is both old and fairly run down in some areas. We just don't have the money to engage in massive urban renovation projects like some other cities in the north can. . .only in part due to all the political corruption and inefficiencies in our state. Of course, there are other cities like Detroit, Baltimore, LA, etc. have their areas that you wouldn't wanna drive through, but so does New Orleans. But from the airport to the Superdome I'm not sure what he was referring to. Maybe they took a wrong turn when the exited off the Crescent City Connection.

We'll see about that wofford29. The Saints are 6-0 in the Superdome this season. It is one of the LOUDEST domes in the entire N.F.L.! My Saints WILL beat the Falcons...again! They will clinch the N.F.C. South at 12-3! :yess:

GEAUX SAINTS! :clap
Saints need to play hard all the way this year to try for a shot at the number 2 seed and a bye.

DAMN!!! Where has this Charger's team been all season? If they keep this up and win that division I feel sorry for whoever travels out there!

Part of it is finally getting players back. Floyd is back, Gates is looking like Gates, and that makes Jackson's job much easier too. They have had a ton of injuries on line too, I think they have had the most line combos of all teams.

I agree that Airport Rd. coming from the airport into the downtown area of New Orleans isn't the "friendliest" looking place. But there's not any "burned out" houses like Jared Allen described. A lot of areas have been mostly restored in the 6 years since the hurricane. But there's still some rough areas like east New Orleans that still need a lot of work. He wouldn't have seen east N.O. from the drive from the airport to his hotel anyway. I agree that our state really doesn't have the funds to fully restore every block of the city. I agree with you that the infamous political corruption, and misuse of state funds has hurt. But downtown, and the Garden District, and other areas have come back big time! We're not one of the richest states. New Orleans is one of our biggest cities other than Baton Rouge, and possibly Shreveport and Monroe. But I'm still very proud to be from Louisiana! :wave

The shocking loss to the at the time "winless" Rams I think put a real jolt into the Saints to never let that happen again. Since then they've gone on a 6-game winning streak. I really don't see them losing to the Falcons or Panthers in their last two games. I expect the Saints to finish at 13-3 and win the N.F.C. South. Just like they did in the 2009 season when they won Super Bowl XLIV! :clap

They just smacked them in the mouth all day long to be honest.

Now I really want to see it! :lol

I bet if they played tomorrow the Colts would beat Tampa Bay by 21.

If the Bucs played the Vikes, you'd win by 10 points and nobody would watch except us. :(

Did you really watch it due to interest or did your bowl challenge pool take precedence? :lol :lol

The Raiders were 7-4 and on their way to the division title.

Technically the Raiders aren't done but..............I'm sticking a fork in them. :monkey2

I watched the R & L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. It was a great last-second win for a small local college from Lafayette, LA where I grew up. The University Of Louisiana at Lafeyette (U.L.L.). The "Ragin' Cajuns" haven't been to a bowl since 1970! I was so cool seeing them win by a 50 yard field goal at the last second!

Congratulations Cajuns!

A combination of three things:

1. I figured Dallas/Tampa Bay would be a crappy game to watch.
2. One of the schools in the New Orleans Bowl was from Louisiana.
3. I watch almost every bowl game, or at least parts of all of them, due to the bowl challenge.

YES! :yess: :yess:

The Chargers were done at 4-7.

There's still a chance for the playoffs yet.

So does anyone know how the Chargers can make the playoffs if they tie for the best record in the AFC West?
