The best part was when Ray Lewis got owned on that one tackle.

In that game he looked his age! Every time he took off running it looked like he was running under water. Did you hear Collinsworth during Lewis' pre-game pep talk to the D? "Did he just tell them to play like dictators?" :lol

Spoken like a true Steelers fan. :D

Hey, I'll take it any way I can get it. With a lot of their older players, I think this is their last big hoo-rah before hanging their cleats up. That, and it's always nice seeing your most hated rival get handled in prime time like that :D

Now to capitalize on it or it's all been for nothing. Definitely not counting my chickens before they hatch against a good team coming off a tough loss like the Niners. We'll see who wants it more tonight.

:slap

I know that. Specifically what after head to head and division record?

Here you go:

Within a Division
If two teams in the same division finish with identical records, the following tiebreakers will be used, in this order, until a champion is determined.
1. Head-to-Head
2. Division Record
3. Common Games
4. Conference Record
5. Strength of Victory
6. Strength of Schedule
7. Combined Ranking Among Conference Teams (points scored and points allowed)
8. Combined Ranking Among All Teams (points scored and points allowed)
9. Net Points (common games)
10. Net Points (all games)
11. Net Touchdowns (all games)

If three or more teams in the same division finish with identical records, the following tiebreakers will be used, in this order, until a champion is determined.
1. Head-to-Head
2. Division Record
3. Common Games
4. Conference Record
5. Strength of Victory
6. Strength of Schedule
7. Combined Ranking Among Conference Teams (points scored and points allowed
8. Combined Ranking Among All Teams (points scored and points allowed
9. Net Points (common games)
10. Net Points (all games)
11. Net Touchdowns (all games)

*If two clubs remain tied after a third is eliminated during any step, the tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-team format.

WILD-CARD
If two or more teams finish the season tied for one of the two Wild-Card berths, one of the following scenarios will apply. If the tied teams are from the same division, the divisional tie breaker above is used. If the tied teams are from different divisions, the following tiebreakers are used:

Two Teams
1. Head-to-Head
2. Conference Record
3. Common Games (minimum of four)
4. Strength of Victory
5. Strength of Schedule
6. Combined Ranking Among Conference Teams (points scored and points allowed)
7. Combined Ranking Among All Teams (points scored and points allowed)
8. Net Points (conference games)
9. Net Points (all games)
10. Net Touchdowns (all games)
11. Coin Toss

Three or More Teams
*If two clubs remain tied after a third is eliminated during any step, the tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-team format.

Start by eliminating all but the highest ranked club in each division by using the divisional tiebreaker above. After the field has been narrowed to no more than one team from each division, the following tiebreakers are used:
1. Head-to-Head
2. Conference Record
3. Common Games (minimum of four)
4. Strength of Victory
5. Strength of Schedule
6. Combined Ranking Among Conference Teams (points scored and points allowed)
7. Combined Ranking Among All Teams (points scored and points allowed)
8. Net Points (conference games)
9. Net Points (all games)
10. Net Touchdowns (all games)
11. Coin toss

* Wild-Card tie breakers are also used to determine home-field advantage.

Amazingly, the Philadelphia Eagles can still win the NFC East and make the playoffs, provided they win their last two (at Dallas, vs. Washington), the Cowboys lose their last two (vs. Philadelphia, at New York Ginats), and the Giants split (lose at New York Jets [still a home game for them :dunno], win vs. Dallas).

All three would be 8-8, but Eagles would be division champs by virtue of the better division record.

This is why late season division match-ups are the best.

So the dream team still have a dream of a chance? Hey, if a 7-9 team can make the play offs, anything can happen. Go Philly!!!

I am an Eagles and Jets fan this week.

Next week I will be an Eagles and Giants fan. :yess:

Yep, the once fearsome NFC East may have a division champ at 8-8 this year.

I know playoffs and team wins trump individual records, but it's pretty amazing that Jason Babin (18 sacks) has had three sack games each of the last too weeks, vaulting him ahead of Jared Allen (17.5) and DeMarcus Ware (16).

Allen was held sackless, and Ware had one sack in the first half but sat the second half to rest for Philly.

Ridiculous? How about this for ridiculous?

A monkey riding on a dog during halftime at the Broncos vs Patriots game! :rotfl

It gets N.F.L. Primetime's number 1 spot!

Don't remind me of the loss of the Saints to the Seahawks. The Saints will keep winning. If the Steelers beat the 49ers tonight, then the Saints clinch the N.F.C. South. If the Saints beat the Falcons on Monday night, or the Panthers in their last regular season game, the Saints clinch the N.F.C. South that way.

I want a rematch with the Packers! Now that the Chiefs :dunno of all teams show that they can beat the undefeated Packers....I know the Saints can. They're (Saints) a MUCH better team than the Chiefs. Now this game film shows other teams the holes in the Packers "armor". First being that offensive line. Aaron Rogers got sacked...more than once.

Saints D probably isn't as good as the Chiefs', and that's what made the difference yesterday. But. . .of course, the Pack aren't infallible. I hope they are hitting a lull. Because that's how the NFL works--you're up, you're down. Packers were up on an incredible high since late last year (recall that they didn't even win their division last year!). It has to eventually come down. Ideally, it will come down before the Superbowl :yess:

As for the monkey on the dog, that's some awesome ____ right there. I would love to see that at half time. A hell of a lot more entertaining than 2 hours of Tim Tebow "slurping."

Dog-riding monkey > Madonna every day.

Edit - Someone needs to do a poll on the internet and make sure Madonna sees the results.
