It's one thing to support your team, but hubris sucks. You know who you are.

I'm happy for Alex Smith. This kid has been much maligned, been called a bust that didn't live up to his first overall pick status. And this hasn't been helped by Aaron Rodger's incredible performance these last two seasons, as the 49ers could have chosen Rodgers first overall.
