If that Gronkowski stays healthy and plays a long time, he's going to go down as one of the all-time greats. Watching him and Welker is about the only thing I like about the Pats.

He looks great. . .but Brady tends to make players around him great. I wonder how good he would be with a lesser QB.

Actually slept through the 1st game. Injury acting up and I was hurting. But nah, although P2 has been on Starz lately and my wife just rolls her eyes when I spot it

Agreed, but I think if Gronkowski was without the services of 1 Tom Brady he'd be a difference maker there as well. He makes great catches, runs routes well and gets good YAC. Now Deion Branch, not so much.

A bit off topic, but I don't think I've ever seen the option run as badly as Jefferson was doing it (or attempting to do it) in the BCS game.

I think those two are responsible for NE's success overall. But the amazing QB play of Brady is what allows Gronkowski to do so well IMO.

Without Bellichick, New England may be like the Chargers--great QB but an unfocused team around him that plays down to their competition. But Brady would still be pretty awesome without him.

I don't find it classless. I find it more classless when people say things like the Broncos are Gods team or that Tebow is winning because he believes in God. It's stupid. When my Dad got cancer again his wife and parents told him he didn't need treatment. He just needed to pray. They even reached out to some wacko that claimed he beat cancer by the power of prayer. Guess how far prayer got him? Today is his 60th birthday. He's no longer here to celebrate. Praise Jesus!

Yeah, this isn't the Brady we saw with the one and done the past 2 seasons. Hard to not favor them to go to the SB now. They look good.
