Okay, now it is official. I won four tickets to the Super Bowl! I won them on facebook after I entered a sweepstakes for them through Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast. I didn't believe it until it was confirmed as legitimate with my hotel confirmation, flight itinerary, and now the four tickets arrived today!

Yes, these are the actual tickets I got today. We're thrilled to be going! I've never won a prize like this before! Paid round-trip airfare for four people, two hotel rooms for three nights, and four Super Bowl tickets!

We've never been to Indianapolis, IN. I think it will be cool to see a new city we've never visited before. It will be a great memorable experience for us.

Now that my Saints are out of it, we're rooting for Eli Manning and the Giants. Eli's a favorite down here being that his Dad Archie played for the Saints. So....

My wife and I thought about selling them if I had only won the tickets. But the fact that I also have won round-trip airfare, and the hotel stay, we just couldn't pass up the experience of going.

But, I do have a question. Does anyone know why the two teams helmets, or their names are not printed on the tickets? I find that a little strange since all of the past Super Bowl tickets I have seen have had the team's names, or helmets, or both of those things on the tickets.

It is likely that these tickets were prepped for the contest well in advance of knowing who would go to the game. Possibly even before the season started.

Further, it is possible that these may be vouchers of some type and you may be able to get actual tickets at the gate. I would check in to that as the actual stubs will be collector's items.

Thanks Darth Cruel. That is a good idea. Yeah, I had the feeling they were pre-printed for the contest in advance of the N.F.C. and A.F.C. championship games. We'll find out when we get up there. It's just so strange that the tickets don't have the teams on them to me.

Believe me I'm not complaining. Just curious about it.

We hope to see some of Indianapolis, and find out what the local food is up there. My wife and brother-in-law are NASCAR fans, and would enjoy seeing the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that is nicknamed "The Brickyard".
But we'll have to see what all that we can while there. I think we will end up spending a while at the N.F.L. Experience.

Maybe with the change in the Super Bowl logo they decided to change the tickets as well and make them just as boring and plain.

And congrtas on the win... thats sweet as hell.

The only thing different about SB logos from now on will be the stadium in the backround. The trophy, the silver color, fonts all that stuff stays the same.

I am seeing all over the internet now that my tickets look the same as everyone else's do. I saw one guy posted a batch of tickets he bought yesterday. Even some in the section we're in, and there is not a Giants or Patriots helmet or team name on them. But that's okay. I guess it is the new design not to have them on the tickets anymore. No problem.
