Yes I do know something about football. If you'll recall, the last time they played, the game was tied 0-0 at halftime...and the final score was 24-20. In that game, two of the best QBs in the league each had TWO TDs each.
Is there another subject you would like me to school you on?

Not to mention the last time they played in the Super Bowl the score was 17 -14. Say it and believe it.
oh yes, you mean when NE actually had a decent secondary and defense, and Tom Brady was hurt. OH THAT ONE! wow, you're good!

I have to go with the Giants. The only clear advantage I see the Pats having is at TE and QB...and with the way Eli has been playing, that advantage is small to neglible.
Both secondaries are the weak point of their respective defenses, but I think Nicks, Cruz, and Manningham are more fearsome and more apt to have a huge game than Welker, Branch, and Ochocinco.
I think NE has the better run defense with Wilfork up front (how stupid does Haynesworth feel now for being such a selfish "me" guy?), but as far as pass rush, that goes to NY hands down with Osi, Jason Pierre Paul and Justin Tuck, along with Boley from the LB position.
Who knows? I can see Belichick doing something exotic like starting three lineman, one linebacker, and seven defensive back to dare the Giants to run.

I am so torn over who I want to win that this year, I am focusing on the commercials as well. The last two years have been a little week for them. Though there were a few good ones. I am hoping for more really good ones this year.
The etrade baby rarely misses. And I wish Budweiser would bring back the "Leon" commercials. I still enjoy re-watching those.
I am going with Pats to win. Sure on paper it looks more like a Giants win but for some reason I just see the Pats winning.
As for the commercials, I could care less. I wish I could fast forward them or have Redzone channel for the Superbowl where there are no commercials.

I would like it the most if the took all of the commercials out of the regular game and just play them all over top of Madonna performing at halftime.

Crap, I forgot about Madonna playing at half time. After last year and the Black Eyed Peas, I didn't think it could get any worse. I bet next year Lady Gaga plays.
For my money, the only halftime shows worth a damn were U2, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. I also enjoyed Prince, especially his cover of the Foo Fighter's "Best of You".

Personally, I would love to se something like military bands and drill teams. I would even be happier if they went back to college marching bands, I have found pretty much every one of the trendy acts that have been put into half time to be an insult to football.
I refuse to watch madonna at halftime
I can't understand the choice of Madoona. Women dont watch Football. Men don't listen to her. This isn't a Tennis match, its Football, where you try to kill the other guy. Put Metallica or some Heavy Metal Band up there. Iron Maiden, AC/DC etc. Madonna sucks.

Bad news for those who do not get NFL network. That is just 5 more games that some will not be able to see.
I am wondering when it will happen that NFL network will take all of the games away from the other networks and have themselves set up as a "Sunday Ticket" kind of system.
