No, no he wasn't crybaby. Talk about doing research. OMG.

Your blaming him for part of the problem for 3-13? That just shows how ____ing dumb we all know you are. (all those guys have problems you dumb ____! And he's handled it well) Guy is smart and has been doing his THANG for a while now. LIKE A BOSS! While little _____s like you cry over every misstep.

I feel dumb for dignifying this with a response. You shoulda stayed gone after running and crying after the NFC game 2 years ago and blaming it on illness. Then coming back conveniently when a new season started.

I've said it before but it makes me sick your a Vikings fan! (Well at least when their winning. And then when their losing blaming it on everything you can...And when we are winning saying how were gonna lose cause of this or that. Fair weather bytch!)

I'd be more than happy to share my medical paperwork with you since we both live in the Twin Cities. But since you're some random internet fk, who cares.

For the record, Spielman was run out of Miami for a series of draft decision blunders. Of course you wouldn't know that because your idea of the big picture is what you see in front of you and completely forgetting about the past. But hey, that's how short-sighted people roll.

So now he has a good first day and you're toweling down his balls? Your lack of objectivity never ceases to amaze me. The next time you look at this team closely, take off the purple color tinted glasses.

I only have one question for you.

How are you able to post with your knuckles dragging on the ground?

I like Miami's picks so far. They seem to be going for high ceiling players instead of the safe pick. I'd be surprised if they don't grab a WR next. WR and DB is a definite need on this team still. I'm REALLY glad they went T with their second pick. They should have a very strong, young o-line this season.

anyone here play fantasy football? never done it just curious if its worth it.

There are a few of the members who do. I have been playing for 8 years or so, now. When I started, I did it as a favor to my brother and had almost zero interest in it. After a couple of years, I developed some interest, but was not really very good at it. But I really got to enjoying it and eventually got better.

I would likely have never joined if it were not for my brother. But I am not sorry and I will not quit any time soon.

I would like to see our league go back to 16 teams, though. We have dropped to 14. Making farther in the playoffs is funner if there are more teams to beat out for it.

Thats cool! im really interested in starting to play but alas know nothing about it lol but will start playing this year. I guess ill have to go to nfl/fantasy or something to start playing. Is getting into leagues easy?

VERY easy. I play at cbssports dot com. ESPN has a league iirc, there are tons of them. Some leagues cost money, some are free. But you are very familiar with how to get info on the internet, so it should be easy for you to find a site to play on and get good with it. They all have all kinds of helps for picking teams like pre-draft evaluations of players, injury reports, and even lists in order of how good they are projected to be to the fantasy league during the season.

If you pay attention to it, you should pick it up very quickly.

I am always in a couple FF leagues on yahoo.com. You can join a free league with anyone or set up a league and invite friends to play.

The 1st round of the draft was entertaining for the following two reasons....

1. Lots of trades due to the new rookie salary scale.

2. It went so quickly. I'm not sure if any team took their full 10 minute allotment to make a choice. Less time for Berman, Gruden and Kiper to blather on.

thanks darth for the info. Ill be trying it out this season

I would suggest playing in free leagues to start with, get your feet wet, get some experience then go play with the big boys. It's definitely a blast though and you will become a much better follower of football when you start playing esp. if you're busy with real life and just don't have the time to watch every game/highlight.

I will say this though, it definitely warps your sense of who to root for and who not to root for. Soon you will be rooting for players on teams that you HATE or rooting for players to do well against your favorite team. I'm always like, "I hope so and so for the Bills does extremely well but I hope they lose to my Dolphins." Players that you would have never thought twice about will become like a fan favorite to you because they helped you win a few FF games.

FF is a lot of fun imo and you will see the game much differently. I always thought it would be cool to start a league with SSF members for fun...:lol

I'm happy with the Raiders first pick. We needed more nastiness on the O-line. I have no clue what we'll be going after today with our 3 picks. Pretty sure 1 of the 3 will be a RB. We definitely should NOT be drafting a WR, lol.

The Raiders new GM Reggie McKenzie was a solid choice by ownership.

I think that organization will see good times in the future.
