So was watching millionaires throw a ball around today, and got bored didn't watch much today.

PACK WON :(

BEARS WON :(

LIONS won :(

In the back of my mind, I had some small hope that Vitt might be a leader that could help the Saints at least play with some pride. But no. Just looks like the new coach only provided more instability this week. I think Michaels said there were 5 or 6 weeks straight with teams getting over 400 yards against the Saints D, which could be an NFL record of crappiness. It felt like the offense just kinda gave up when they realized that the defense was gonna let Peyton tear them to pieces. And there was no leadership from the coach to help them work through that. They just feel like losers this week. Bummer.

is there even a number 1 prospect this year? last year it was pretty clear who the top picks were but I'm not hearing anything about any body in this draft class.

Geno Smith!!! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

What a turnaround for the Saints. I can't believe that Bounty-gate had this much of an impact though. They went from a Super Bowl caliber team to this?

Ugh! Carolina blows a 19-7 lead in the 4th and loses to the Bears. :gah:

a Quarter Back! lol that won't happen. I see them trading down if they can.

don't under estimate the power of the PAYTON. I hope he comes back to the saints, I've heard rumors that Jerry Jones is going to try to sign him to the cowboys. He was an assistant for them in the late 90s under the tuna.

oh yea, and GO BEARS. Jennings is a beast this year, that first pick was incredible. The pick 6 was just lucky.

the saints are getting exposed this year
Yeah, mostly exposing what a lack of leadership at the head coach position can do. But the lack of a defense worth a damn also hurts. Having said that, the defense has sucked going back to the Haslett years, but their offense was able to overcome it when they gave a **** and had some pride.

On the offensive side, though, the play calling this year is ridiculously predictable. Even when you've got Brees as QB, if you pass 70-80% of the time, then you aren't going to be able to win games consistently. We saw this in the past, and I guess without Payton no one is there to remind the team about this.

Exactly...there is a lot of talent on that team. They desparately need someone who can bring it together.

31 other head coaches are thanking the saints for bounty gate. In case the owners don't think head coach is important that sure is proving how important a hc can be.
