I have high hopes for The Steelers this week. If they play as well against the Giants this week as they did against the Redskins last week, I will feel that they put the early season stumbles behind them.

I can not wait for the game, I am completely fired up for it!

For the Steelers I think the AFC North is theirs to lose. The Ravens seem to be sliding with all their injuries and the Bengals and Browns are non-factors.

Also, the Pats pick up Aquib Talib in a rare trade deadline move. I love it. Yes, he's a **** off the field, but on it he's exactly what the secondary needs.

I have a bad feeling about this week for the Falcons. This is going to be a must win for Dallas.

You never know with Dallas. I agree with you...this reminds me of 2009, when the Siants were undefeated and Dallas was struggling...and the Cowboys came into New Orleans and beat the then-undefeated Saints.

Of course, the Saints went on to win the Superbowl that year.

Maybe history repeats itself on both counts.

Good pickup by the Pats signing Talib.

Really good pick-up. Talib's a player.

Dont think he would want to deal with Jerry Jones.

They supposedly have a pretty strong relationship and I read that his ex-wife lives in Dallas with their children.

Jerry supplies a blank check and this is probably a done deal IF the NFL voids the contract.

a Quarter Back! lol that won't happen. I see them trading down if they can.

don't under estimate the power of the PAYTON. I hope he comes back to the saints, I've heard rumors that Jerry Jones is going to try to sign him to the cowboys. He was an assistant for them in the late 90s under the tuna.

oh yea, and GO BEARS. Jennings is a beast this year, that first pick was incredible. The pick 6 was just lucky.

Just in time to go to Dallas next year?

As a Dallas fan, I'd love this move. Dallas needs a no nonsense coach to get their asses in gear. Too much talent on that team wasted.

But in response to the revisionist history and everyone saying that Dallas never should have let Payton leave while he was a coordinator there, I only remember him being OC with the Cowboys and the Giants (probably a position coach before then) and he wasn't lighting the league up then. A coach has to have the right confluence of factors to get that Superbowl victory, and I think Brees has had a lot to do with Payton's success, and vice versa.
