And Tebow is a bigger joke. The jets can't run the ball with a RB what makes you belive Tebow can. We all know he can't throw.

I think Plunkett was the last good/great USC QB in the pros. And even then it took him several years.

Palmer doesn't belong on that list. He was really good until injuries started. He just never recovered.

There are rumors that the lack of Tebow is due to the Jets being right against the cap and if Tebow sees a certain amount of snaps it triggers bonuses.

What he did last year was more to do with the team he was on. He had D that could hold teams to 14 points he had an OL that could block and that gave him a chance to win games (against bad teams)

Youre right the Broncos Defense was awesome, but youre saying Tebow didn't contribute to those wins in any way? I guess it was the broncos defense that threw for 380 yards against the best defense in the league.

That was not the best D in the league that day they had a key piece missing due to altitude.

Wasn't that the only win over a team with a winning record too?

Personally, I think he is a great leader and inspires his teammates to play better. But I wouldn't make him my starting QB unless my defense was the '85 Bears or something. Maybe make him a captain so he can have some leadership role, but as a fullback, not quarterback

It sounds to me like he inspires his teammates to talk to the press about how bad he is behind his back.

Well that's the problem when you have a guy who could be a leader who isn't put a leadership position IMO. He's a backup, it's pretty clear he's not a factor on their team. But then, I think the Jets need leadership at a more important position in the coach. Without a coach, all the leadership on the team means nothing. I think the Broncos at least respected Fox.
