I hope the Chiefs get Reid. Can scratch them off the division contender list for a few years. Just need the Charges to bring in Shurmur or someone like that. :lol

For me, the next two weekends are the best times in sports on an annual basis. 8 NFL playoff games in 4 days. :yess:

Here are my predictions for this weekend:

Cincinnati at Houston (Houston)

Minnesota at Green Bay (Green Bay)

Indianapolis at Baltimore (Baltimore)

Seattle at Washington (Seattle)

What's yours?

Cincinnati at Houston - The Bengals have been hot as of late and Houston has been on the slide since before Thanksgiving. They can work on adding patches to their letterman's jackets next year.

Minnesota at Green Bay - I think the Vikes will give them a game, but I can see the Packers pulling away forcing the game into Ponder's hands.:horror

Indianapolis at Baltimore - Silly speeches and histrionics won't be enough. The Colts can send Ray Lewis into retirement.

Seattle at Washington - This is probably the hardest to pick. The Hawks are 3-5 on the road, but they seem too hot to have a letdown now.

Looks like Reid is going to Kansas City where players and coaches go to die. :lol

I'm not terribly excited about Reid. I think he needs a year off to get things right after the loss of his son. However, outside of the last few years KC has been a solid franchise.

Honestly I joke, but he is a good coach and will likely bring many quality assistants with him. I woulnd't be surprised at all if they improved very much like the Rams have.

Some Reid Stats Versus some of his possible suiters. Obviously no super bowl win.

Reid, who won 10 playoff games with the Eagles from 2000 through 2008, had more career playoff wins in Philly than the Chiefs have in their 53-year history and the Cards have in their 93-year history and as many as the Chargers have in their 53-year history.

He can't be worse than Haley or RC. The Patriot way works if you have a QB like Brady but if not then you get what's happened here. I say good riddance to the Patriot way. KC has talent on the Roster and with decent coaching could have made the playoffs.

The problem for KC has always been they've been good in the regular season and then fell flat in the playoffs. Marty was so very good in the regular season and then just couldn't do it. When KC made 2 of the first 4 Super Bowls the playoffs didn't have as many games.

I think the home teams will win all the games. There are some coin flip games but I think home teams will pull it out.

Seattle is a horrible road team and DC is a long way to travel so I'm going with Washington.

Really can't see Cincy getting over the hump.

No way the Vikes win outdoors in Lambeau. Great win last week but I don't see it happening back to back.

Baltimore in what is Rays last game at home? I think they'll murder Indy.
