WOW That Carcillo embellishment that Valfar posted was awesome! Sean Avery, you're no longer the biggest piece of ____ in all of hockey! :slap

Tough loss tonight! Man these are close games, I'm getting the same feeling I had in the Boston series- the games are so damn close it could easily be 1-1 or even 2-0 flyers. Hoping we bounce back at home :rock

How can you not think those series were not the best so far in this playoffs?.

Certainly the most exciting to watch, with out a doubt.

It would appear that millions of viewers would definitely agree with you.
Me included.

During your absence did you take up crack smoking as a hobby?

Exciting hockey?? Or do you mean the little engine that could beating the big bad Caps and Pens?

You're like a broken record... The Pens were beaten by a harder working team, fair and square. If you're having that much trouble adjusting to the loss, perhaps you should make an appointment to speak to someone and explore various mental strategies for coping with disappointment. The never-ending spewing of such sour grapes is so very unbecoming, if not a total turn off.

The Pens were beaten. Deal with it. There's always next year.

P.S. Other than by you and a handful of the same Maple Leaf fans, the Pens and Caps series were generally applauded and viewed as throroughly entertaining hockey.

And so are you. NO one agreed with you until Valfar came back, go and find me one piece of something where anyone in hockey said those were entertaining series. They were enjoyable to you cuz your a blind homer Habs fan. Stats are stats and the Habs were out played in 10-14 games easily. Win a ____in cup in this decade, christ make the finals and then you can talk, until then you can keep talking about your 24 cups, when the hockey stick was invented.

To bad you dont get dibs on the top players from the Q anymore either right?

More sad sour grapes... Blah blah blah...
You need help, dude.

It's very easy to root for the Stanley Cup champs who have two of the best players in the world on it. Who are you going to root for next year? The Hawks?

:cuckoo:

I wouldn't necessarily say the brand of hockey the Habs played was exciting but what they accomplished was. Nobody thought they could knock off the Caps and the Pens in back-to-back series. Nothing stood out for me by the Habs with the exception of Cammalleri being the Habs primary go-to-guy and means of offence, the sudden emergence of P.K. Subban who I saw play many a time in person (AHL season ticket holder), and the fact Halak had some solid outings.

Don't be blind. Nothing special or amazing, but the fact they were a Canadian-based franchise that had a lot of Canadian backing due to two reasons... Everyone loves to root for the underdog and they are, well what I already said... a Canadian-based franchise. In Pittsburgh's defence they took on a very tired team that got no real help or support from the Malkin line, the very thing that helped the Pens become so dominate in the 09' playoffs. This was definitely a Stanley Cup hangover. Playing that much hockey over a span of 3 years will do that. See Detroit and pretty much a huge percent (we're talking about a majority) of NHL teams in the league's history.

But they did make for an interesting playoffs story. I still prefer the Calgary run, and to some degree, even Ottawa's.

Leighton looked two hundred times better last night. Way better looking team than game one. I still can't believe the last minute or two and not getting a goal. We we freaking magnetized to the net.

:lol at Danny Boy!

The Flyers play such an impressive tight game. There are times when it looks like not even a grain of rice can get through their defensive zone. They can be a very tough team to beat. I applaud the Hawks resilience too.

Absolutely need a win tonight. I think they can do it.

The Flyers have to crash the net more, keep Carcillo out of the line up, and the forwards have to shoot way more. Leighton has to be outstanding. And, they can't be outhit 2-1. It might be a lot to ask.

It was a sick game, Hartnells pass on the first goal was sweet
Im guessing not many saw the Canadian feed, but Comm Bettman was on with Ron Maclean, man Betteman is a major douche.

Glad someone else here witnessed that. What an ass hat Gary is. Dodged every single question and basically called Ron a liar. What a piece of ____.

Sometimes I want to buy into the conspiracy theory that David Stern sent him to destroy the league.:dunno

Non-Stanley news but the Winter Classic next year should be a good one. Although I don't see why Pitt gets to play a second one.
