I'm not generally inclined to hire a former player over a coach with lots of minor league experience.

I'm not generally inclined to hire a former player over a coach with lots of minor league experience.

It's not like he retired yesterday. The guy has put together 5 pretty good years at the AHL level, while Boucher has only one along with some good years in the Q.

That's why I said I'm not "generally" inclined... Sometimes teams hire players to coach far too soon following their NHL career.

I can not stand Chris Pronger.... and to some degrees Carcillo. I just think the latter is more funnier than anything else. Plus we have three Winnipeg boys on Chicago. Add that Chicago hasn't won a Cup since 1961, you feel almost compelled to root for them.
