Little karma for Ovechicken tonight. This guy has crazy talent, but he's a borderline cheapshot artist. Looks like some of it caught up with him tonight. I hope he's not out too too long because he's good for the game. On the other side if its just a game or two I think its time he gets suspended for being a repeat offender. What is it 2 five minute majors in 3 games??

True that on both accounts. Well, as for Ballard, maybe not a suspension. I think a one game benching is good enough. What he did was an accident and he clearly feels terrible about it.

Concerning Ballad, Penguins, never sign or trade for that guy.

That 5-4 goal that Elberly scored but got called off in the third period of regulation was pure BS! The US player pushed the Canada player onto their goalie. WTF? But boy did both goalies tank against those shooters in the SO. I never seen so many goals scored one after another before.

GO CANADA GO!

Also, Phaneuf and Green not on the roster? Bergeron and Morrow?!

Bergeron had good chemestry with Crosby back in 2005, but did we not learn from the past? We went with the same old guys in 06 that won us the Gold in 02. 4 years is a third of a player's hockey career. Avg career we're talking about, so what the sam heck?!

I really wish they did more things like this in the NHL. I know that hockey isn't put up on a pedestal stateside like other sports are but these types of things really liven up the sport.
