Eli, I picked the Flyers, cuz I thought the Pens would be gassed this year, its tough to make the finals three years in a row and I thought by adding Pronger they woudl be dangerous. NOW I think the Pens have a good chance, them or Jersey

Sadly I will put Washington there as well. They went 6-0-0 and scored 36 goals... averaging 6 goals a game when Ovechkin was on the IR. This team is unstoppable. Only their goaltending can screw them, and Valarmov played pretty good in last year's playoffs and my Moose lost to Neuvirth and the Bears in the Finals last Spring, and I watched those games at ice level, behind the glass, so I know how good the kid is. He even won playoff MVP. Last guy to do that was Cam Ward. AHL Calder Cup and MVP to Stanley Cup champ. Not what I want, but the realist in me thinks if the Pens don't repeat as Champs, it's Washington's to win.

No team is more deserving. It's the team that shows up in the end. Great regular seasons doesn't make a Stanley Cup champion all the time. When the Pens won their first two Cups they barely had 90 points during the regular season. Where just above .500. The season after their two Cups they had the best regular season record, but fell short. The playoffs and the regular season are two campaigns... The Sharks have shown nothing in the last few playoffs why they are more deserving.

Its true, the Sharks bomb in the playoffs but! i hope this year they bring their game with them this time into the post season.They are such a good team(like Detroit) of years past, hard work = wins in the end, this is why i think San Jose should get a break this year and actually go deep.I've just always been more of a fan of the Sharks more then Washington.

When I was younger the Olympics were fun but not anymore. Its all about NHL hockey for me. Of course i've lost touch since 2006 if you know what I mean.

Really, why isn't it fun anymore? Personally, It's hard to wait 4 years for this stuff......but the IIHF and World Cup are great until the Winter Olympics come around.

Youll see, Komisauras and Johnson wont hold up and goaltending wont save you against these top tier teams, it will keep you in it but you have to score.

Granted he was also a former Flyer and I hated that team, especially when Lindros and him formed the Legion of Doom line. Anyone remember who completed that line? Also, name the Crazy 8s line for extra brownie points!

Thanks! If I take the red, white and blue blinders off I'd say it's probably Canada or Russia's to win.

Of those two I definitely would need to pull for Canada if nothing else because I'm a big Bergeron fan and my French-Canadian grandfather would probably disown me.

Mikael Renberg completed that line and the Crazy 8s line?.....Lindros, Recchi, and Brent Fedyk!

AND LeClair will always be a Hab in my book! He was a Beast around the net in the '93 Finals. The Habs should have never traded him!

This guy along with Robert Richael and Owen Nolan did sweet f'k all for my Leafs..i believe we even gave up Brad Boyes for Nolan.
