So when are we gonna get a SideShow or Hot Toys making high end collectibles of NHL product? Heh.

btw Gotta give credit to the Leafs, they have played back-to-back games of shutout hockey and ended a hot team's streak at 11 wins. And they did it with a watered down group of forwards.

Also, I feel horrible for Brian Burke and his family. I would hate to lose someone so close.

Sign me up! I'm ready for the Tim Thomas with EX beach ball.:lol

I'm hoping the rumors of the B's moving Thomas are true. Tuukka Time all the time would be the best.:chew

What happened to our teams lately? Ugh.

I want the Fleury beachball Ex. btw Thomas is turning into the next Jim Carrey. That's the Net Defective, not Vet Detective.

Probably never to be honest. If they ever got into any kind of sports figs it would probably be NFL or NBA due to popularty. NHL is sadly ignored by much of the general public in the US. Despite many die hard hockey fans like me it's still a bit of a nitch sport.

It does suck about the popularity of the sport in the U.S. Every single college basketball and football game seems to always be aired while if you don't purchase the NHL package from your cable or satellite company you will be lucky to get 3 games a week! What really gets me is that when a cavs game is on the cavs will get the HD station while the bluejackets are given the standard. :banghead

Dude, Fleury killed us this weekend. I hate to get mad at him, cuz he played standing on his head last playoffs, but he needs to step it up. We need some more speed on defence, rumour is Whitney wants to go to the Pens, but Shero is parting with anymore pics.

Attention Pennsylvania residents

Anychance any of you guys can somehow hook me up with tickets (Ill pay of course) to the Penns vs Flyers in Pitts the 27th of March??

Thanks

Yep, it's frustrating. At least all the Caps games are on here, but I'd love to see more teams. Hockey is the best sport on earth IMO and I don't see how or why it doesn't have a MUCH more wide fan base. People say it doesn't translate well to TV, but I disagree. I don't have a problem following the puck or the play. Yeah, it's a lot more exciting in person, but it's fine on TV too.

Hockey sucks the only good thing about that sport is the fighting.

I honestly do not care for any other sport. I grew up playing hockey and hockey only. The furthest I strayed away was inline but its still hockey. I cannot watch any other sport without getting bored to death.

the bluejackets suck :lol

Dee,

The only thing good about the NBA is hoping the gun fight turns into a basketball game.

A basketball fan calling out hockey. Ugh.

Hockey >>>> Basketball

Get out of our thread!

Hockey is a great sport, with or without the fighting. Heck, most of the fights in hockey are just holding a guy's jersey and trading words of profanity between the two players. Only guys I like watch in fights that actually land their punches are guys like the Lucics and Rypiens of the hockey world.

Hockey is a great sport with a lot of depth. I love this sport, and any Yank who can't follow the puck on the ice, is blind. Check those eyes out, it will help.
