Funny if we did that, we would be prosecuted to the full lengths of the law, but being a rich, famous, well-loved figure gets you a get out of free jail card. Love the standards put in place by society. Money talks. If you got it, you're pretty much untouchable.

Yeah it's pretty sad. One of the police officers just resigned over this whole thing. The evidence is pretty horrid to hear too. Apparently a body guard drug her in the bathroom and another stood guard. The girls friend kept trying to get to her and the body guard wouldn't let her.

A friend of the accuser said in a statement to police that a "bodyguard" refused to acknowledge that the woman, who had been drinking, was alone with Roethlisberger in the back of a nightclub in Milledgeville, Ga.

Ann Marie Lubatti told police on March 5 that she told the bodyguard, "This isn't right. My friend is back there with Ben. She needs to come back right now."

Lubatti said the bodyguard wouldn't look her in the eye and said he didn't know what she was talking about.
