Indeed, I agree with this.

Are you kidding?? You bash Crosby and his teeth constantly, yep Im a A hole for making 1 joke about Leclaire
Indeed, I do love to sniff Dan Carcillo's hockey bag
Whatever floats your boat man
I knew Crosby was doing well, but he has 5 goals and 14 points in 5 games now, with a +9 rating. WOW!
Have to give up for the guy. He produces when it counts.
I figure the Pens should go pretty far. It'll be interesting to see if he approaches some of Gretzky's playoff scoring records.
How about Ennis? I am surprised this rookie doesn't have 3-4 points tonight!
I'll reserve judgment on the guy for now. I did love him with the Portland Pirates though.
Hate cheering for these guys only for them to go to a division rival. Things were much easier in the days of the Maine Mariners.
And yes, that is all pulled from memory. That's why they call me the rain man in my hockey pools. I know this sport well. hehe
I think they call you rain man for different reasons. RA-TARD!
YOU'LL RESERVE JUDGMENT?! TYLER ENNIS HAS BEEN AWESOME SINCE DAY 1!
He went undrafted in the dub. That's the WHL for our uneducated hockey fans. How did he respond? He made an immediate impact and scored over 20 goals and 50 points in his first full season in Junior. He followed that up with two back-to-back 43 goal campaigns. In his last season in Junior he scored 26 goals in his final 24 games, was named hockey's future "Prospect of the Month" for the month of February 2009. He scored 12 goals in his final 3 games, where one of the games he scored all six of his team's goals. He went on to score 8 goals and 19 points in 11 playoff games. He played for Team Canada in the WJC in 2009 and captured a Gold medal for us and went 6-3-4-7. After being held pointless in his first 4 AHL contests, he scored 65 points in his final 65 games as a professional rookie for the Pirates, good enough for capturing AHL "Rookie of the Year." He was AHL All-Star MVP. He recorded 9 points in his first 10 games in the NHL and would have played the entire season in the NHL if it weren't for the numbers game. His hands and vision are even better than Daniel Briere's, the last great offensive player to come out of Buffalo.
He was taken in the 1st round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft at a 146 lbs which is unheard of. His small stature was overlooked because of his tremendous skillset. Many scouts said he was the purest offensive player from the draft, and that once he filled into his 5'9" frame he would be a player to be reckoned with. Both Luke Schenn and Tyler Myers were blown away by this kid. High praise from the potential NHL "Rookie of the Year" and Schenn, a former 5th overall selection by the Buds. Schenn said that Ennis was the most difficult and elusive player he played against in the DUB.
What you see from the kid is a player with great work ethic, battles hard, uses his smallish 165 lb body and will take hits, go into high traffic areas. Makes smart assessments. Won't make stupid blind passes, but his passing ability is hard, crisp, and accurate. He has great wheels, and a nice accurate shot, and plays a positional sound game. You can see he wanted a goal so badly in that game, the way he anticipated plays, and swarmed around Rask. HE'S AMAZING!
But you'll reserve judgment for now. Tell me that when he wins the Calder next season, and you know he will be a front runner. We're not talking about a teenage rookie fresh out of Junior, but a kid who will be a 21-year-old mature prospect who has a year of professional hockey under his belt, and a good taste of the NHL level already. He'll most likely play on a line with Derek Roy and Jason Pominville since he seems to have the best chemistry with those two. Granted he seems to be faster on the trigger than those two, especially when he tried to dish the puck to Pominville, and he just stayed there like a deer trapped in front of a set of headlights. Oh, this kid will be great! I see a 35 goal, 80-90 point upside for him. The Sabres scouting staff really did great. Drafting Myers and Ennis in the same round of the same year. Polar opposites. One 6'8" the other 5'9". One a defenseman, the other a forward. Both former teammates in Junior, and could very well take the Calder in back-to-back seasons.
