Pens defense was garbage tonight..while the habs guys were throwing themselves in front of the puck to stop the shots. You gotta respect this team's heart Eli.Pretty sure Pittsburgh is going down wednesday .

Yep, losing Scuderi and Gill hurt us and now its showing. At least Mtl kept it exciting tonight. Fleury should have had that backhand though, he slid to far, Halak would have saved it.

We just looked tired tonight. Either that or everyone on the team had a horrible head ache from hearing O ley O ley O ley O ley 5,000 times. Seriously, try another chant once in awhile... :nana:

I was really hoping to seal the deal tonight, but I'm fully confident heading back to the burgh.

Heart and mad men in Suban, Cammalleri, Lapierre, and Halak.

I believe Pittsburgh will take it in Game 7! Hey-O!

But this is the first time I have a ton of respect for the team, and Habs fans, while annoying are some of the loudest bunch of fans ever. I like their energy.

Let's see my reflections on the game, now that I've rested up from the trip.

Last night's effort would have been understandable though not acceptable if the game had been played in PHI. The fact that this was a home game where they had mustered 15 SOG through two periods is disgusting. That PHI only blocked 6 SOG all game is equally embarrassing. It is one thing to lose because the other team plays a perfect defensive game, gets great goaltending and blocks a ton of shots like MTL has done to WAS and PIT. This was a loss on lack of effort plain and simple. They didn't get shots because they didn't have the puck as a result of being outworked in the corners and along the boards all game long to go along with multiple mental mistakes and dumb penalties. Spending over 1/3 of the game shorthanded sure didn't help.

This was like Game 5 against Buffalo. They took that game off as well. Good teams don't take off multiple playoff games and they certainly don't take them off at home.

I pray that Tuukka can steal game 6 because PHI is going to be flying at home and the B's simply look gassed.

Habs fans are the biggest fugaze fans on the planet, 90% dont know ____ about hockey, just cheer for them cuz they think its cool.

Unless the Habs win the cup, this is the worst thing that could happen to them, they are the 06 Oilers.

Patrick Kane is so good. WOW! What a goal, and boy did the Vancouver D and Luongo went to ____. Argh! They are my next favorite team with all of those ex Moose guys... NOOOOO! And what is with Versteeg being the most liked hockey player on nhl.com? He has over 3,000 facebook likes. Ugh. Must have been a local radio station from his hometown that got the townies to vote for their local boy.

Sorry guys the ECF will be original six only this year.:nana:

As bad as they played last game, I think the B's take it tonight. They just need to score first and set the pace.

As for the Habs/Pens, I'm not sure. Pittsburgh mystifies me with how they look so dominant one game and then play down to an inferior team's level the next. Fleury is another mystery, whichever version shows up tonight will be the deciding factor, IMO.
