NHL 2009-2010 Season

One thing I'm half wondering (not making excuses) is if crosby is injured. He does not seem to have anywhere near the explosiveness he normally possesses. Normally he has an extra gear he cranks into, but its missing. Habs have played good defense and their goalie has once again been stellar.

Hopefully a few of the posts we hit last game will result in goals this time around. I'm fully confident my boys will pull out the game 7 win. Last year in the second round we faced the caps in a game 7 and blew them out of the water. I would not mind at all if that happened again

As for the flyers. They seem to be hitting on all cylinders. If they can pull out the win tonight I don't think the B's will stop them from winning one more. Too much momentum. Gagne returning + Losing Krecji is not a good formula for boston. Ole Recchi and Satan will have to pull you through one more.

Anyway, I have butterflies too. Gonchar's blast from the point and Malkin's wrister on the right top hand corner both beat Halak, but they didn't beat the posts.

We need to get in close on Halak and score from within a few feet of him like Crosby did. Anything where he can see the puck from a good distance off, he'll stop. We need to get some garbage goals, do you here me Kunitz and Guerin? We need to have the puck change directions. If he can't read where the puck is going he will not stop them.

We need Crosby and Malkin to be at their best.

We need to close all scoring lanes from Cammalleri and have a man constantly on him ala a Cooke and/or Orpik. Shut him down you take down their primary offensive weapon. Last two goals he scored on us he had so much room to work with. We need to get on him like their guys were on Crosby this series.

Finally, we need Fleury to be able to stop a beach ball.
