The Flyers have been there before. I still have faith. I could speak like a Pens fan and whine about Carter and Pronger being out. But not I. The rest of the team needs to step it up. They have the talent and the depth to win. They played hard last night so it's difficult to be upset by that.

Either way I look forward to game 3!

Caps have been there(here) before too.....and by that I mean there used to being a high seed that chokes.

those Phills games are hard on the retinas. what makes it worse is that people from Philadelphia seem to be on the overweight side, so all the fans are wearing XXXL jerseys. that's a lot of orange square feet. tell them to put down the cheese steaks once in awhile.

But there are large to obese all over the world. America especially, and that's because most Americans overeat and are lazy, so it doesn't get worked off, but simply accumulates until people are forced to wear XXXL hockey jerseys that flash larger amounts of horrible colors into people's retina's (as The Craw put it )

Offensively he's doing ok, but he coughed the puck up in one of the last rushes at the blue line and blew a tire that almost led to another breakaway a bit earlier than that. You try to do too much you get your team in trouble.

Towards the end turnovers were terrible for the Caps, Neuvy had to go in to too many unnecessary situations.

I loved seeing Kesler falling by the goal right after the winning score, especially in slo-mo. Also... anyone else catch that preds player smashing his stick on the top of the goal post?? cracked me up

I am very pleased that the Canucks were able to do it. But I don't know that they would have been so lucky if Weber hadn't been sitting in that penalty box.
