Not only a rookie, but today was only his 13th NHL game. He only played a very few games in the regular season and didn't start in the playoffs until game 2 of the first series after our "starter" Theodore sucked as expected.

Wow and if they pull it off and win the cup you'll be hearing about Roy in 86' all over again. Probably won't happen but one can only dream of such upsets can't they?

I swear if the Caps won the cup I'd probably cry. I am a fan on nothing on this earth like I am for the Caps. That's why I get SO negative when they play poorly. I care SO much it drives me insane.

Crosby didn't have a good enough shot on that or else it went in.

But your Caps deserved that one! Good game.

I am never afraid when my Pens are behind your Caps in a series. I wonder why?

I was waiting for that reply. Just admit it was an awesome save dude. Crosby threw his arms up in the air to celebrate and turned around to find out it didn't go in. That was sweet.

That said, I don't think the Pens will play as poorly in the next game. Malkin was non-exisistant in game 1. I don't expect the same in game 2.

Oh and during the half time interview Sid said he thought he made a good shot it just didnt go in and he'd have to make sure the next chance he got like that goes in.

Ovechkin? I don't know. I was wondering that too.

btw I did think it was a sick save and I thought it was a good hard thought out battle between both teams.

I still can't help but remember all the times my Pens have been down to this team 2 games to done or 3 to 1, only to come back and win it all. That was the days of Mario. Can it happen with 87 and 71? We'll see.

Anyway, it may come down to the better goalie of the series.

On a side note, my Manitoba Moose won against Grand City tonight! So heading to GR my Moose are now up 2-0 in the series.

The Moose and the AHL are a priority to my Pens and the NHL now.

Hello Craps fans, do you think Alex Semin will ever eclipse the 50 goal plateau? I have a lot of people who want him off my fantasy team. I know he's made of glass... or so it seems. Do I trade or keep him? He only played in 62 games this past season, but if you prorate his numbers over 82 games he would have scored 106 points. And he's only 24!
