I don't buy into "history" when the teams are totally different. This isn't Mary-O and Ja-Girl vs the "Little engine that could" type Caps teams. Those teams are gone. History honestly has nothing to do with it. I fear the Pens of today because of how well they have been playing since the coaching change and trades.

I would have to dissagree bro, only for one simple reason............Superstition! Every athlete is VERY superstitious and every team considers past records before a match.

They are superstitious about their own rituals and such and they are aware of history, but I don't believe that the Ovechkin Caps losing to the Pens is a given because the Dale Hunter Caps kept losing to them. If they lose it will be because the Pens were the better team in the series.

Pretty much. I just saw on the news today that Richards has to have surgery on both shoulders and he went into the playoffs with these injuries. Wonder what would have been if he was healthy?

Either way, yes, I hope the Pens get ^^^^ed up!

You know what the realy problem in Philly is?? That Bob Saget look a like coach, he is terrible. IMO they greatly under achieved, 4 guys in the top 40 in scoring and you cant get out of the first round??? No Excuse, get a better goalie, and new coach to put in a new offensive system
