Seen them when I was a little younger. Or I guess him rather. He rocked! Seen him with Bowie! :rock

I went to the concert on Fri night and had a blast. Unfortunately some smacktard forgot his camera so I snapped a few cell phones pics that well look like crap.

Anyway about the show. The opening band was called Street Sweeper Social Club. I've never heard of them, but its Tom Morello's new band. If you liked the sound of Rage you will definitely get that vibe. They were pretty decent and Morello was his usual amazing self.

Apparently Janes Addiction and NIN are taking turns going 2nd and 3rd because NIN came on next. This was my first NIN concert experience and what a great show it was. They started off with a few new songs then went into march of the pigs. They played a nice mix of old school to present. The crowd of course went nuts for Wish, Gave Up, Head Like a Hole, Heresy and Mr. Self Destruct.

Janes Addiction - I really was never into them at all so I didn't know what to expect. They do have a pretty hardcore following that I am now aware of. Perry Farrell really kinda creepy in my opinion. Dave Navarro (totally forgot he was in JA) was alright, but most of the time he really didn't seem like he cared to be there. Perry interacted with the crowd a decent amount, but they just aren't my thing. We left 3/4 of the way through their set to beat the traffic.

Below are my crappy cell phone pics. We were just about as close to the stage as you could get. I think we were 3 deep from the front gate and when we were sardined when NIN came out we were pretty much at the gate at that point.

First Pic was basically just showing how close we were:

Second Pic - Tom Morella and the lead singer of SSSC. BTW they came out to the imperial march!

The last 3 are of trent. The last one snapped right as the lights from the stage flashed so its mostly a blur..

For those that care here is the set list that they played for the show in Camden:

The Beginning Of The End
1,000,000
March of the Pigs
The Line Begins To Blur
Survivalism
The Big Come Down
Head Down
Burn
Gave Up
Metal (Gary Numan cover)
Banged And Blown Through (Saul Williams cover)
The Downward Spiral
Wish
Heresy
Mr. Self Destruct
The Day The World Went Away
Physical (You're So) (Adam Ant cover)
The Hand That Feeds
Head Like A Hole

Awesome praxitas!!! Great setlist too!

my favorites from that show would be beginning of the end, line begins to blur, big comedown, burn, metal, downward spiral, heresy, self destruct, TDTWWA, physical...

wait, the whole damn set! what an awesome set indeed!!!!!

I saw them in Indy a few days earlier and it was awesome. My 13th show. I love this band.

Looks like you had a good time! Plus you didn't have to watch the Penguins get whooped. :lecture :rock

I saw this show last night in New York - great concert. SSSC was pretty damn good, I agree, and Morello was amazing.

NIN was their usual tight self, they're always great live. Jane's Addiction came on last. I didn't realize this was a co-headliner show, I ( and I think most of the rest of the audience) was shocked when Trent and NIN came out first. I thought maybe Jane's had canceled and SSSC was the new opener.

Just got home from working a party and trent reznor was there. pretty cool.

did you meet him? what do you mean by "working a party?"

part time waiter job for a high end catering company in manhattan. Didnt get to meet him but was like 10 feet away from him and his table. He was there for Webby Awards and was presented an award for best creative artist or something of that nature.

awesome. i was about 10 feet from him myself at the Indy show. was able to go backstage and meet a bunch of people, but Trent was pretty busy. He definitely deserves an award for creativity.

Last show. The end of an era :monkey2

I've seen them live back in 2006..it was f'n awesome! They had an awesome light show! U should decently go if ur a fan!

Saw them in Chicago at the Aragon during their final leg of 10 shows. It was epic. Amazing to see them on last time. There were many HD cameras set up, so hopefully Trent will put out a bluray disc of the show.
