Played with a demo unit the other day.
My two cents on the 3DS.
The graphics are amazing and the games are fun. However my eyes were strained big time after playing with it for 20 minutes. When you first look at the screen in 3D, it's disorienting and eventually your eyes put the images together. But this soon starts to take a strain on your eyes. Thankfully for people who want a great new handheld but don't want 'new' health effects from the system can turn the 3D effect off (and it looks great and normal with the effect off).
The 3D is a gimmick and honestly I cannot see any good coming out of playing 3DS games in 3D over a long period of time (meanings hours and over the life of the system).
