Wow, your friend John must be a mad Zelda fan! Buying one to open straight away, one to store in mint condition and a third in case it floods and the other two are ruined. Smart.

Lol, well he bought them in case some of our other friends missed theirs. Not like he's scalping or anything.

I'm glad! Honestly I see so much scalping in my main collecting communities (designer toys) that I tend to assume the worst of anyone buying multiples. Sorry for that. Even worse when there's a red flag like 'pm me for price' [emoji6]

No worries, we always try to buy limited stuff in multiples in case one of us misses out. Some of us have different work schedules so sometimes we all can't be online ready to preorder stuff at the stame time. But we always cancel our extras if everyone got one on their own.

I bought the nintendo one that came with a carrying case. Hori one should be the best though.

Do you have links? I haven't found a glass one from Hori, nor any officially licensed by Nintendo. I found a few licensed ones that are plastic - including the Hori and PDP ones.

Tempered Glass is the best for screen protectors.

I went with the amFilm tempered glass screen protector for my Switch. It has the quickest ship time and I've used them before on my phones.

midnight launch ... and the Gamestop also received more units than their preorder allocation... so my friend is coming with me on Thursday to see if he can snag one. It's worth a shot.

My local Best Buy has some extra Switches, so if anyone doesn't have a nearby GameStop but does have a nearby Best Buy, I'd check with them.

It seems that most major outlets are reporting that they have more units available than were allocated to pre-orders. There's a good chance that you can get one just by showing up early for the launch.

So for the Nintendo fans here, is this upcoming release more exciting than when the Wii or Wii-U hit? Honestly just curious. Never 'got' Nintendo

This feels better than the Wii U did. I was excited for the Wii U simply because it was a new console. :lol
