After being out of the country for awhile I finally got a chance to sit down yesterday and set up my Switch and play Zelda. A few things..
-Zelda is amazing looking and fun so far. Just as a I expected. I haven't done too much yet but so far so good.
-Switch lay out is very simple, which I don't mind. Not a cluster of options/apps all over the place so it's fairly easy to navigate around and find what you need to.
-I was not able to connect to the wifi. I did some research and did a lot of trial and error with no success in finding a point. I went to my local bestbuy and purchased a 3rd party lan adapter and that didn't work either. At that point I had pretty much given up hope until I read that some people had zero luck with 3rd party adapters but found success with the Hori/Nintendo adapter which is all sold online and at my local stores except for one. I managed to get the last one at retail which I was pretty happy about. Once connected I was able to get in, finally. Sucks I had to purchase one (30$) but then again when playing Mk8 online I would rather have that.
-I also was able to get a Pro controller on amazon prime now for retail. I really like it a lot more compared to the joycons. Feels sturdy and accurate. Very similar to to the XB1 controller. I'd recommend getting one to any who can, but you don't need it really. Just feels more comfortable to me personally.

Btw, has anyone found a case (not the hybrid one) that fits on the Switch AND fits into the dock as well so you don't have to remove it?
The Deluxe travel cases are not in stores at the moment from what I was told. Only way to get them is online. I ordered mine 3 days ago.

Maybe I worded my question wrong.
I'm looking for a case that goes onto the switch screen (similar to the hybrid but skinnier) and kept on while placing into the dock to play on the tv. Not a travel case to carry both around.
The hybrid is nice but I've read you can't keep it on AND place it into the dock to play on the tv. You'll have to take the hybrid case off first.
Oh got you. I actually haven't seen anything like that. Interesting

After looking around I don't think it exist yet. I can't recall how much room there is between the switch and the walls of the dock when placed inside, so if there's not much room to play with then perhaps nothing will/can get made.
Having a switch with tempered glass will barely fit in the docking station. Anything else won't fit.

I think you forgot it's portable so he can go see them while playing.

It's crummy about needing to let it recharge though; you'd think they would give players a break with their *****y weapon mechanic when they finally got the best one.
I completed all of the Divine Beasts too. I want to work on getting more ancient gear before I finish the story tho.

I was looking for something thinner so I could keep it on and fit in the dock when I play my Switch at home. I DID purchase the Hybrid cover in the pic you posted and I can confirm that it won't fit in the dock, but it's nice to use since I take my Switch to work with me.
Nice to see a store that has the Pro controller and Lan adapter for sale. They're all sold out online and are going for silly prices on ebay/amazon.

I just got an Orzly tempered glass screen protector for mine. Easier to fit than I thought and it looks part of the console, not bad for £7.
Incidentally, I just got back from a week away on business. Being able to play Zelda in the hotel was awesome!

For some reason, it keeps taking me to the UK site, but the seller states they're in the U.S. Don't know why it's doing it. But they have a BUNCH of designs. I just picked the black one, but numerous custom options.
I have a glass screen protector - forgot from who. (I can look it up later if anyone cares.) But it's perfect. Easy application. Great fit on the screen. Not a single scratch on my Switch - nor the unit as a whole, going in and out of the dock. *hopefully never will.*
