finally completed the 4 divine beasts, and unlocked the 120 shrines. on my way to defeat Ganon

Just finished Breath of the Wild after around 140 hours. Loved every minute of it and will definitely be going back to hunt down some more Korok Seeds. I've been playing I am Setsuna since then. Imported a physical copy from Amazon Japan. To me, it's better than I had expected it to be, from what I'd read in reviews.

Eh, they said they didn't so the console wouldn't retail above $299.99, even though they never dropped the Wii U's price to $250.00 when they sold it without New Super Mario Bros IIRC.

So it's been about a month since I last posted in this thread and I see that the Switch is still sold out everywhere.. Is this still a scalper thing or are they really limiting the amount of consoles they release?

I don't think Nintendo intentionally limits the number of consoles for sale; they're just not producing and supplying enough to meet current needs. Scalping doesn't help, obviously, and there is plenty of that.

They're still fairly limited in stores but scalpers don't seem to be making much of a profit, if anything, off the Switch. They're averaging $400 on eBay at the moment. After shipping and fees that doesn't leave much of a profit. In this case just scalpers pointlessly driving up the cost while the only one that really benefits is eBay.

I went to Walmart 3 days ago and they had 5 in stock. I had went two days prior and they had one. I love this little town, if anyone wants one I can probably pick one up for them.

I live in a fairly crowded area, so even things like joycons are scarce; you can't even find the colored ones anymore. But for some reason, one of my local TRUs has two of the BoTW LEs.

I annihilated Ganon

I spent so much time upgrading costumes, level ups etc that that boss fight was pretty easy.

I did unlock all the costumes and upgraded most to level 4

now my Switch will gather dust up until Mario Kart Deluxe comes out

I did the exact same thing. I'm still going to continue hunting for Koroks, Hinox, Talus, side quests, and max my last few outfits. Also going to continue using Amiibo to unlock the few remaining outfits. Still plenty to do and I'm continuing to enjoy exploring the world.

I have I Am Setsuna and Snipperclips going as well.
